Welcome to Senja Island - often referred to as Norway in miniature. At Overlanding Senja, you can join the island’s smallest group tour, with only 4 participants per car.
This tour takes you along National Scenic Roads, stopping at iconic viewpoints such as the Bergsbotn platform, Tungeneset, Ersfjordstranda, and many other breathtaking spots.

Wonderful tour along the southern route - The guides Peter and Mary were fantastic, super attentive and very professional. We loved the experience and recommend it.

Wonderful - It was a wonderful trip. I took the express boat from Tromsø to Senja. Afterwards, my guide picked me up and we explored Senja. He told us a lot about the island and we visited great places. We were also very lucky with the weather and the nature was breathtaking. In between, we went on a short snowshoe hike to a lookout point (about 5 minutes) and then we had tea and a Norwegian cinnamon roll. At the end of the tour, I was driven back to the harbor and was even able to take an earlier ferry so I didn't have to wait forever at the harbor. In summary, the trip was great and I'm glad I did it.

Amazing experince! 10/10 - This tour was the highlight of our trip to Norway. Peter and Mary were amazing guides. The tour around the island was well thought-out, as the guides knew specifically when to go to each place for the perfect lighting and views. However, apart from the tour, we also felt their passion for the island. We were provided with hot teas and a snack, and even got to try a bit of snowshoeing. It was an incredible experience overall, and we certainly recommend this tour! Thank you so much again!

Senja in a nutshell - I highly recommend a trip to Senja with this company. The guides have a lot of knowledge and you can feel that they are fascinated by themselves. We chose the trip even though we could have gone by car and we don't regret it - because we visited all the interesting places. Thanks to the experience of the guides, we were able to see these places at a time of day when the light was best, and thanks to their perceptiveness, we saw wild animals in real life. The trip was in a very comfortable car, despite difficult road conditions we felt safe. We also have beautiful videos and photos as souvenirs, which was a nice surprise. Additionally, the guides encouraged us to visit this island so much that we would like to visit it in the summer as well.

A trip day in Senja - One of the best unplanned ideas that we had ! Marzena and Piotr were very helpful and also very friendly, highly recommended 👍🏼 It was a real pleasure to spend this day with them and talk with them 👍🏼 They also showed us so many beautiful places and shared with us a lot of information / stories about Senja.

Unforgettable experience! 100% recommended - Our tours with Mary and Peter were an unforgettable experience. We booked the Discover Senja trip which was full of breathtaking sights thanks to their knowledge of the island and the route they created which allowed us to be in the places exactly when the sun hit. We also wanted to hike Hesten so on the 2nd day we joined them again. They made sure we had everything we needed (ice crampons, snacks, tea, etc) and managed to include as many wonderful views as possible. During the entire time they captured amazing shots of us and the landscape with their drone and camera, which we wouldn’t have obtained otherwise. Thanks Mary and Peter, your passion and knowledge of Senja helped create incredible memories for us.

Best choice to explore Senja! - We had an amazing experience exploring Senja. They have so much knowledge about the island and take you to really incredible places. They really cared about us having the best experience possible and I can truly say it was. Definitely recommend to explore Senja with them!
