Unforgettable, magical experience - We had a wonderful time with Heli. We absolutely loved feeding the reindeer and travelling through the wilderness on a sleigh ride. Her family’s cabin is cosy and beautiful, and my children especially enjoyed roasting marshmallows and cooking sausages over the fire. This was a truly magical experience and a perfect start to our Lapland adventure. Heli is incredibly friendly and kind - we would recommend an experience with her without hesitation.

What an experience! - We had a great day with Heli and her partner. Heli was born at this place and loves to show people the Finnish way of life. My mom and I were picked up in time at our hotel and even the drive to Helis little hut at the lake was an experience. We were just four customers in total. The ride in the sledge behind the snowmobile was fantastic. Over the frozen lake and through the forest to the reindeer-farm. There we were also the only four guests and were showed around by Heli and the two daughters of the farm. Back at Helis Mökki at the lake, we had sausages and homemade delicious sweet specialities in the Kota. A fantastic day!!!

Don’t miss this experience! - This is one of the best experiences we’ve ever had! Our family had an amazing time exploring reindeer husbandry, enjoying a snowmobile sleigh ride and seeing the beauty of a small village in northern Finland. Heli, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the experience unforgettable. The connection to local traditions and learning about and interacting with the reindeer with a local reindeer farmer, created a perfect balance of adventure and culture. Highly recommended!
