Salim, the great. - Salim is a person who lives for his clients. He knows the history and ins and outs of the city very well. He takes you to workshops, shops and other places you wouldn't visit if you didn't visit him. Fully recommended.

Fes Medina Tour with Salim - We chose Salim for a guided tour of the labyrinthine Medina of Fez. Salim is a perfect guide: he is the boss of the Medina! He knows everyone and with him you feel safe, you don't get stormed by vendors and people who want to accompany you everywhere and you can enjoy the tour in peace. He introduced us to the points of interest and also less touristic areas very beautiful and particular, explaining everything with great attention and with good Italian! He also took us to see a bakery where they baked bread, we drank Moroccan "grandmother's" coffee and ate a great fish tajine in a restaurant not frequented by tourists. He even bought kibble to give to the many stray cats we found around:) Thanks Salim, you made us discover and appreciate Fes a lot: without you it would not have been the same!

Best tour guide ❤️ - I couldn’t fault our tour with Salim, he was so well educated and I felt thoroughly taught after our morning with him! Salim seemed to be a well known and was a very honest any witty 😂❤️ he was more than accommodating to our needs and spoke very good English for us, I loved the fact he shared his personal life with us too felt like we got to known him slightly and not to mention his vast knowledge of football btw!! He is a gem of a man an definitely gave a fantastic tour, although we did the half tour it was definitely more than enough for me as the whole madina experience was slightly over whelming due to how crowded and busy it was! I did enjoy trying some street food and Salim also treated jim to a Moroccan coffee! We had a delightful morning with Salim I couldn’t recommend a more passionate person to give a tour of the medina ❤️

What an experience, what an insight, what a day, what a Man - Couldn’t have asked for a better guide.Salim described both the cultural and the scenic side of Fez Madina. Our first visit to Morocco and some of the reports made us feel quite nervous. By doing the tour with Salom our nerves were settled and we became much more confident and more educated in this incredible place. We shared a coffee and we shared stories about our own life experiences from football to movies and from Morocco to Scotland via Spain and England. Salim instantly made us feel at ease as both myself and Libbie listened to his every word. Salike is a very passionate man and wanted to show us as much as possible even though we only booked the half tour. From the tannery to the mill from the fish market to China town market to the Jewish quarter, In and out of narrow streets Salime appeared known by all the locals who also showed him a great deal of respect . We shared great humour but at the same time we learned so much. He even walked us back to our Riad when we told him we’d probably get lost. ;) what an incredible city and what an incredible guide. Even in the tannery we weren’t pressured into buying anything. What an eye opener that is, a wonderful experience and I would recommend anyone wanting to see the Madina in its full glory to give Salime a call. You won’t regret even if only to meet this incredible man. Thanks a million Salime, we met as strangers and we left as friends.

Great tour! - Salim is an amazing guide, he knows perfectly every detail of the Medina. He showed us all the main monuments and the curiosities. But we could also learn about the history and the traditions of this unique country. We really appreciate it and we recommend him. Thank you Salim!

Deep dive into Fes culture - Salim took us ALL over the medina and gave us so much great information. Highlight was making Moroccan "burgers" in the bakery the old way. Awesome!

We hired his services... - We hired his services because of the mention that he is a Portuguese speaker but we really regret. He charged us 30€ more just to share one information (where to see 🐪 in Fès - it's called Obripark if you want to go without paying for the info. 1 hour tour with the 🐪 20€). He knows the historical places, this is true. We weren't interested in shopping and we informed when starting the tour, but he continued going on their associate shops and he really got angry when we didn't buy anything, calling us cheapskate in arabic thinking that I was not able to understand. As he was not available on the first day that we arrived, we walked alone and we already bought stuff, so we knew the overall prices and his shops are not the best. Not sure if he's an official guide as we never see his id (the official guides have their id in a lane easy view all the time). Must be patient to enjoy the tour.
