Best guid in Fès medina, period! - There are few words to describe how good was the tour with Mourad. A very nice and wise person, which loves to share his huge knowledge of Fès with the people. He walks in the Medina like he would do in his house, he shows you all the famous monuments and the secret ones. He was never hurried or rude, and always gave me the time to enjoy the places I liked the most (for pics and just for meditating). He told me lots of interesting things about the life in Fès (he loves his city) and brought me also in some shops where he never forced me to buy anything. So, I think he is the best official guide in Fès medina, period. He's also cheap! Choose him😃

Recommended! - Excellent trip. Modestly priced, the guide is very capable and friendly, fluent in Arabic, French, English, ... He listened to our preferences and guided you accordingly (if that is what you wish, if not, he shows you all places worth seeing just as listed). We were very pleased and will definitely call him again whenever we re-visit Fez!

One of the best tour guides and tours I’ve ever done - Do yourself a favor and book the private Fes day tour with Mourad. You will be so glad that you did. Not only is he an amazing licensed tour guide but he is a wonderful, good-hearted person. Our dar recommended him and we are so grateful that we had the privilege of getting to know Fes from a local. Mourad was born and raised and Fes and knows all the best shops, restaurants, and sights. We rented a car for our Morocco trip, and he drove us all around Fes and showed us the best sights. It is not easy to drive and find parking in Fes so we were so happy that Mourad is an experienced tour bus driver who was able to get us around. He even took us to the supermarket. I had a list of places I wanted to see and he not only showed us every single place on my list but also showed us other places that we would never find by ourselves. He took us to reputable and fair priced ceramic shop, tannery shop, and carpet/rug shop where we did not feel pressured at all by the salespeople. It was a very comfortable shopping experience. Save all of your shopping for Fes (don’t buy rugs/carpets/leather goods/ ceramics in Marrakech if you’re also visiting Fes). All of the shop keepers were friendly and explained the leather making/ceramic making/ wood making process to us without pressure to buy anything. Mourad also took us to all the important and most interesting sites- Marinid Tombs, royal palace gates, Chouara Tannery, Al Attarine Madrasa, Mosque and University Kairaouine, Place Seffarine, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, Dar al-Magana (Water Clock), Jnan Sbil. We only had one full day in Fes and we would have never been able to see everything on my list without this tour. Not only were we able to see everything on my list but so much more we didn’t even know about thanks to Mourad. Fes Medina has over 9,000 streets and is truly a maze. Mourad’s English is excellent and we learned so much about the Moroccan people, Islamic religion, customs and cultures of Northern Africa, Fez, and all of Morocco- he does full 12 day morocco tours and I would book this too if I were to come back to Morocco (which I hope I do). Mourad is also an excellent photographer so bring your camera and you will have wonderful memories :)
