- Bou Inania Medersa - After passing through the gate, take a quick left, then a right onto Talaa Kebira. As you pass numerous intriguing stalls and cafés, make a stop at Medersa Bou Inania (20 Drh). Built in the 1350s, this madersa is the most exquisite theological school in the city and includes a complete mosque.
- Chouara Tannery - Situated in Fes el Bali, the oldest medina quarter of the city, near the Saffarin Madrasa along the Oued Fes.
- Place R’cif - Turn right, passing the dyers’ souk and mirror stalls along Leather Street before reaching the delightful Place Seffarine.
- Fes el-Bali - You are now back on the main shopping streets. The stunning Souk el Attarine offers a variety of clothes and jewelry and is adjacent to the highly ornate mausoleum of Moulay Idriss III. Built in 1323, many consider this the heart of the Medina.
- Museo Nejjarine - Explore the Henna Souk and the Museum of Woods, Arts & Crafts (20 Drh) at the restored fondouk in Place an-Nejjarine. Then, proceed along Talaa Seghira and return to the Blue Gate to find a spot for a late lunch.
- Place Seffarine - Place Seffarine is an ideal location for a break. Enjoy a sweet mint tea on the pavement at Crèmerie la Place and observe the metal-workers as they skillfully shape their copper pots and pans.

If you're going to Fez this is a non-negotiable. Book now! - Driss was AMAZING. Important things I was looking for was someone who could speak understandable English and not a guide taking us to places we were pressured to buy. He spoke amazing English ( and many other languages); we were not bothered by any shop owners while we were with him. Part of the tour and things we wanted to see were the tanneries, which after seeing they took us downstairs to buy leather if we would like. We did not feel pressured but this was where the locals came to buy leather as well. There was also a Berber carpet shop ( he gave us the option) and we wanted to buy blankets so we went. Also, he asked if we wanted to go to an argan oil place. Another presentation but no pressure and very informative. We wanted to buy different things in the shop so we opted in. Fez would have been very difficult to see without a guide and was also great company. He offered to take us somewhere to eat and then continue on but we had skipped breakfast and the rest of the group wanted to shop for trinkets. I would recommend him to ANYONE looking for a really great guide. Felt like I was hanging out with my Grandpa in his hometown. Very knowledgable and friendly to everyone in the town. It was so nice being with him walking through the medina. Don't hesitate to book through him. I will be sending my friends his number to come. A huge thing for me is not being taken to places to just buy stuff and he was an answer to my dreams come true. Great tour!

Idriss is a great guide in Fez - Idriss was very knowledgeable, explained in great detail all the sites, helped us taste the local delicacies, and was very friendly and helpful. My wife forgot her phone in our car and Idriss went out of his way to get her phone. Idriss is the best. He was like a family member taking us around. He did not rush us. He helped us with our shopping.

Beautiful discoveries over two days with a guide 👌 - We can only recommend Driss with his eyes closed to make you discover the medina of Fez that he knows as his pocket , and possible other excursions outside the city . We were able to take advantage for 2 days of his very great historical and political knowledge to better understand Moroccan culture and its riches. Many thanks Driss and look forward to meeting you again on our way... Incha ‘ Allah

Absolute highlight of my trip - My goal for the day was to go on an intensive tour with a local guide. I had no idea that my expectations would be so exceeded! Idriss is an excellent host, he involved me right from the pick-up in ‘his’ city with lots of interesting storytelling, detailed explanations and a lot of warmth. He navigated to all relevant locations and always had 1a contacts who were part of his personal network. This personal relationships made it so authentic and fantastic. That was history you could experience and touch, thank you Idriss!
