Day 1: Fes - Azrou - Ziz Valley - Merzouga Camel Tour - Overnight in the Desert

The tour begins in the morning from Fes, heading to Ifrane, a beautiful city in Morocco known for its stone chalets and red tile roofs. Just outside Azrou, travelers will encounter the ancient “Gouraud Cedar” in the cedar forest, where friendly Berber Apes often greet visitors, hoping for a treat.
A lunch break will be taken in Midelt before continuing to the Ziz Valley. Along the way, the breathtaking Atlas Mountains, rivers, and villages can be admired. The Ziz Valley is home to the country’s largest palm tree oasis. Before sunset, the tour will reach Merzouga to witness a magical sunset, with an overnight stay in the camp.
Day 2: Merzouga - Todra Gorge - Dades Valley
Dades Gorges - An early start allows for a stunning sunrise view over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and enjoying breakfast, the journey continues to Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, eventually reaching the Dades Valley for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate - Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah - High Atlas Mountain - Marrakech
Marrakech - After breakfast, the drive proceeds through the Dades Valley towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate. The route, known as the “way of the thousand Kasbahs,” offers numerous photo opportunities. Visits include the Roses Valley and Skoura village, followed by Ouarzazate, “the Hollywood of Africa.” Lunch is at the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest in Morocco. After exploring this UNESCO World Heritage site, the journey continues through the majestic Tizi n’Tichka pass, reaching 2260m over the High Atlas Mountains. Stops will be made to enjoy the views and visit an argan oil cooperative, arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon.
