Engaging and informative - Our favorite part of our vacation! Our guide was very knowledgeable and fun. The history facts were colorful (how to kill an alligator with a log) and eerie (enemies hanging in trees!) Highly recommend this tour!

His presentation was informative and humorous, and kept our attention. We learned quite a lot while enjoying ourselves. Seating in an air conditioned van on a hot day was a big plus. Ninety minutes of historical entertainment! - Daniel, our charming and loquacious leader, had more than an arm-full of historic information about Amelia Island. The early inhabitants were traced back centuries, followed by the arrival (and departures) of eight European conquistadors, legal, and illegals!! As a bonus, the history of a few pubs was included.

Awesome Tour Guide! - We signed up for this tour last minute and had issues with the online system. We also wanted to see the historic homes, which wasn't an option for the time and day that worked for us. Daniel was great! He worked with us to get on the tour and modified it slightly to include some of the homes along with the 8 flags history. He was very informative and we all enjoyed it. The van was comfortable and cool on a hot summer day. Highly recommend!

Informative, even eye-opening historical tour, in a comfortable and air conditioned van. - The van was comfortably air conditioned and the driver-guide, Dan, was extremely well informed about the varied and at times gruesome history of Amelia Island and Fernandina, in particular.

Learning about the history of our nation. - The guide knew more about the US than us. Great stories of the 8 flags over Amelia Island. The best was leaving the Catholic Church behind for liberty of the pioneers.
