Sirkeci - We will meet at 6:30 PM in old city of Istanbul, in front of Sirkeci Tram Station/Orient Express

We will show you some hidden spots in old Istanbul.

We will try a very local street food and high quality Turkish delights.

Our private van will pick up us, we will get away from the touristic spot to an amazing rooftop.

Süleymaniye - Enjoy the beautiful Istanbul view at a rooftop and drink some tea, coffee and salep.

After having our drink, we will have our private transfer and we will go to a restaurant which is almost 130 years old!

Kadinlar Pazari - We will go to a restaurant which is almost 130 years old and is mainly for locals.

You will discover more than 10 different types of local Turkish food. (Starters, mezes, kebabs)

Dinner will be followed by dessert and we will do the closing with Turkish coffee or tea.

This is a tour to hang out with locals, experience the local part of Istanbul and meet with a group of fun people!

Simply amazing!!! - We had fantastic time exploring Turkish cuisine. Naz was wonderful sharing local places where she goes with her family. She was very warm and welcoming. We met beautiful people that became friends. Naz also sent us a list of places to visit while our stay in Istanbul. Which we did, and they didn't disappoint. Loved the experience. Highly recommended!!!

Yummy tour! - What a great (yummy) tour! Ben and Metin were great hosts and not only took us to great places but explained everything and how it culturally ties to turkey/istanbul. Yes we had doner kebabs but also had other dishes I don’t think I would have tried if it wasn’t for this tour! Would highly recommend!

Great food tour - On our first day in Istanbul, we decided to take a tour, and it turned out to be one of our best decisions. We explored several small street food spots, visited a stunning rooftop restaurant at sunset, and ended the evening with a delicious Turkish BBQ. Zeynep and Beyza, our guides, were friendly, helpful, and shared fascinating local insights. The group was fun and diverse, making it a great way to meet new people while traveling in Istanbul.

Best Experience to explore Istanbul - Sule & Zey, what a great evening and experience to explore Istanbul/Culture and more! Truely recommend this event to learn so much about Istanbul, local food/history/great spots apart from mainstream tourism. Tour was perfectly timed/organized. Great food, wonderful ambiance - Entire trip was amazing. Amazing views from roof top restaurant with views of the Bosphorus and short whirling dervish "sufi" performance, sit down tasting at 132yr old restaurant. Zeynab is awesome explaining the meze we had, short but sweet intro to Turkish cuisine.

A Must Do! - Zeynep and Alp gave us a unique understanding about the real Istanbul culture, a do & donot do tips. Eating the real istanbul food was my favorite. But it's far beyond just a food tour! Their tips about places to eat, stay and go, were spot on! It was an amazing, fun experience. I strongly recommend to this tour as the first thing you do in Istanbul. That will help you plan rest of your time in Turkey. Zeynep & Alp are so upbeat & fun, no wonder they attract such vibrant people from all over the world to experience their tour. Truly an evening to remember & recommend!!

Magnificent tour. Visited a lot of authentic Turkish food places. - It was a very beautiful experience. Me and my wife were visiting Istanbul for a day, and had missed most of the morning tours as our flight arrived by 1 pm. This tour was so good, we got to learn a lot about the Turkish food and their culture. We visited multiple places on foot and later to the main dining place where we had dinner. The roof top restaurant was the best ( MS rooftops) where we had Turkish coffee , and got to see the Whirling dervishes as well without any extra charge, the place had a beautiful ambience with a stunning views. It is right in front of the Sulemaniye mosque, Saw a major part of Istanbul from a height. The best part of the tour was our guide, Zaynep. She was very methodical and informative, the whole trip was well planned with no delays in terms of travel or serving food, she explained everything in detail and must say with a lot of passion. With this tour we not only got to taste a lot of Turkish food variety which we otherwise would not have, but we also got a brief intro of the whole of the Istanbul town with panaromic views. We definitely would not have been able to visit so many restaurants or food shops in such a small span of time and without such good guidance! Must try for all!!
