Great experience with Metin - We had a 2 day tour of Istanbul with Metin. this covered all the major sites - Hagia Sopia, Tokapi Palace, The Cistern, Spice Market, etc. Metin is very knowledgeable and we learned a great deal durning our time with him. As others have said, he is extremely personable and we really enjoyed our time with him, personally. We felt more like friends than clients. He was also very accommodating. Unfortunately I got very sick after visiting Ephesus and had a a great deal of difficulty keeping up wit the tour. Metin couldn't have been more understanding or helpful. I would also like to point out that he routinely pointed out items of interest on the tour that would have been overlooked or completely missed without him. Really made the most of the experience.

The most Exceptiinal, knowledgeable Guide in Turkey with a Personality to Match - Metin is quite simply the best guide in Istanbul. His knowledge of Turkish history, perfect English & wonderful personality ensured we had the best holiday ever. He knows everything about the usual tourist attractions, but we loved the fact that he tailored our time to things that specifically interested us & took us so so many amazing places where there were few, if any, other tourists. He is incredibly interesting, great company & has a wonderful sense of humour. We felt he genuinely cared that we had an unforgettable experience & he went above & beyond to ensure we enjoyed ourselves. I can't recommend him highly enough. There are 16 million people in Istanbul & I can honestly say he's one in 16 million! We'll never forget our time in Turkey & despite finding it one of the best destinations on earth, meeting Metin was the highlight.

Awesome Day in Istanbul! - We hired Metin to do a private guided tour for our family. Metin was outstanding! We thoroughly enjoyed the day with him touring all the best sites in Istanbul. He grew up in Istanbul and knows the history and the sites so well. Istanbul is so rich in history. I would highly recommend Metin. I will for sure use him again when we get back to Istanbul.

5 star tour and guide. - We were extremely fortunate to have Metin Koca as our guide. He is very knowledgeable, had allot of patience describing everything to us. We thoroughly enjoyed his company and tour. We left it open for him to take us to points of interest and he did not disappoint. He is also a photographer and pointed out where to take the best photos as well as taking very good ones of us at every stop. We highly recommend him! A 5 star experience tour. He also after the tour recommended a boat tour on the Bosporus sea. He arranged the pick up and we are so glad we did that to complete our day with the sunset on a really nice boat. Best guide on a lovely tour.

Private tour in Istanbul, Turkey - My husband and I recently visited Istanbul and based on highly recommended reviews we thought a day spent learning about this historical city with Metin Koca would be highly rewarding. We could not have been more disappointed. He said his tours normally take about six hours so we were expecting a full day of interesting, educational and fun activities. After visiting Sofia Hagia, the Blue Mosque and the Cistern ( which took less than two hours) he kept asking us what WE wanted to do. We were not familiar enough with the city to know how to answer this and frankly, at almost $400 USD, plus entrance fees, plus his lunch we thought he could have made much, much more effort to make this day more enjoyable. We have taken private tours with guides from other areas of the world and we both said he was not worth our time or the money and he was the most uninspired and uninteresting guide we had ever used. After three hours we parted ways. We were frustrated with him and he with us. Would not recommend at all.
