- German Fountain - In 1901, German Emperor Wilhelm II gifted a fountain, built in Germany, to Sultan Abdulhamit. Located in Sultanahmet Square, its architecture stands out from both Ottoman and European styles. The inscription on the fountain expresses gratitude for the gift.
- Blue Mosque - Also known as the Sultan Ahmed Mosque, the Blue Mosque was constructed by the Ottoman Turks in 1616. Inside, visitors are mesmerized by over 20,000 handmade blue tiles and ostrich eggs hanging from the chandelier.
- Hagia Sophia Mosque - The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, or Ayasofya-i Kebir Cami-i Şerifi, boasts innovative architecture, a rich history, and religious significance. Once the largest Eastern Roman Church in Istanbul, it has been rebuilt three times on the same site. Known for its stunning domes, monolithic marble columns, and unique mosaics, it is a marvel of architectural history. The mosque’s beauty, with its play of space, light, and color, inspires worship. Situated on Istanbul’s first hill, it is surrounded by the Sea of Marmara, the Bosphorus, and the Golden Horn.
- Topkapi Palace - Topkapı Palace (Topkapı Sarayı) and its Harem are filled with stories more colorful than most museums. From the 15th to the 19th centuries, it was the court of the Ottoman Empire, home to sultans, courtiers, concubines, and eunuchs. Visitors can explore opulent pavilions, a jewel-filled Treasury, and the expansive Harem, offering a glimpse into their lives. It was used by 25 different sultans over 380 years.
- Kapali Carsi - Known as the largest indoor bazaar in the world, it houses over 3,000 shops. Depending on time and interest, visitors can explore a carpet house, which offers insights into the mysteries of Turkish women, beyond just shopping.
