Great Food Tour to Do at the Start of Your Trip - Doing a food tour in the beginning of the trip is always a good idea bc the tour guide has recommendations for places to eat and things to do. That’s exactly what Onder (my tour guide) did! He was great at explaining the foods we were trying and places that he thinks are “must visit.” I would’ve never found the places we tried without this food tour! Highly recommend in the start of your trip!

From Turkish Breakfast to Dessert: A Perfect Food Tour - We had a fantastic tour with our guide, Salih! He was incredibly knowledgeable, offering rich insights into Istanbul's food culture and history. The day was a culinary adventure, starting with a traditional Turkish breakfast, taking a boat to the Asian side, and sampling a huge variety of delicious foods like çiğ köfte, midiye muscles, iskendar kebabs, fish kebabs, and dessert!!! Every stop was clearly carefully chosen and the food was exceptional. Despite being a long day, the easy, comfortable pace made it thoroughly enjoyable.

Great tour and guide. - Önder was a fantastic guide, sharing is favorite places that I wouldn't have found by myself, and stories about growing up in the city. The amount of food on the trip was very generous, and everyone was totally stuffed by the end.

Very Filling Food Tour - We had a great day tasting food with Binnur. She met us at the Spice Market and we began our tasting with a wonderful breakfast. Binnur would not only tell us about the food and customs of Istanbul, but also the history of the city. There was a good balance of eating and then walking/ferry ride to try to digest. There is A LOT of food on this tour. You will be full at the end. I highly recommend the tour. It’s a great way to spend a day in Istanbul.

A taste of Istanbul - We booked into the food tour and loved it. The group size was only 8 so very easy to manage. The tour gave us a real taste of the Turkish cuisine, from a wonderful breakfast in the winter garden, through the Egyptian spice market and ferry rides across to the Asian side of Istanbul. A huge variety of Turkish street food along the way. The mussels were amazing. Even more amazing was our tour guide. Binnur Eren Kurtoglu gave us a historical understanding of Istanbul and the foods, including the regions the cuisine originated from. She was great. Well done Binnur. This tour is well worth it. 5 stars

Highly recommend this tour with Bunner! - One of the best food tours we've had. Bunner was very knowledgeable about the Turkish cuisine as well as areas surrounding our amazing food. We enjoyed getting to know her as well as other in our group. The locations took us out of the tourism and into the heart of Istanbul. Highly recommend. Thank you Bunner!

Go hungry! There was so... - Go hungry! There was so much delicious food to enjoy, and I’m really glad we didn’t eat before meeting. Our guide, Salih, was amazing. We’ve done a lot of food tours, but this has by far been our favorite one. We tried a large variety of foods and Salih gave us plenty of interesting facts along the way. 10/10 would recommend this tour to anyone looking to try local Turkish food.
