If your clothing doesn’t meet these standards, wraps and scarves are provided at the entrance. - ATTENTION PLEASE ! The entrance ticket fee of Hagia Sophia museum is not included. Our guests will pay for the ticket to the Guide in cash at the entrance of the Museum.

There are two entrances to the building.
One for the Muslims and Turkish citizens and another one is for the foreign visitors … We meet at the main tourist entrance of Hagia Sophia Museum for foreigners at the front of the Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque ticket office.

Excellent tour guide! - Mr. Muhammet is a fantastic tour guide. He was fun, enthusiastic and is very knowledgable about several topics including the history of Türkiye, the culture, religion and all the intricate details of Hagia Sophia and much much more! He also made our entry process very smooth and coordinated with us ahead of time with all the relevant details beforehand, making it a very pleasant experience overall. We had a great time and we recommend him completely!

Excellent tour guide! - Mr. Muhammet was our tour guide for our Hagia Sophia visit and we had a fantastic time! He coordinated the meeting point ahead of time and he ensured that the entry process was very smooth for us. He was enthusiastic, and has immense knowledge about everything, not just with reference to the tour but about the country’s overall history and beyond. His explanations were very clear and we enjoyed his tour thoroughly. Definitely recommend him 👍✨

Excellent Pilgrimage Sojourn - My tour guide Mohammed was excellent on this private tour. Not only did he go into a very detailed history before we even entered on this tablet, but h really took the extra time to discuss all of the fascinating architecture and pointing out everything inside.

Pick this tour - Phenomenal tour. Muhammet catered our tour expertly to us. He gave us a fantastic overview of Turkiye/its history that has really helped us the entire rest of our time here. Highly recommend. Muhammet is a gifted tour guide and made everything very easy.

Best guide you can hope for! - Muhammet was the perfect guide! He is very knowledgeable, not just about the Hagia Sophia, but also about pertinent Turkish/world history. He takes the time to explain details of interest and does not rush through any part of the tour. He is very personable and we felt as if we made a new friend by the time we left. He also helped us with several recommendations for shopping and dining and showed us a few hidden gems in the city! We are very lucky to have had Muhammet as our guide, and in such made a friend in Istanbul!

Fun and Knowledgeable Guide - The guide was very knowledgeable and fun. He communicated with us days prior to the tour so we had no problems finding him at the crowded entrance area. He gave us a history of the area and the mosque/and former church and was patient with us, giving us the time we needed to look around and ask questions.

Great Tour! - We loved our guide Muhammet. He was very friendly and personable. He took his time with us. He was very knowledgeable about the entire history of the Hagia Sophia. He answered any questions we had. He also shared information about Islam when we had questions pertaining to that even though that wasn’t necessarily covered by the tour. Great tour and well worth the money.

Excellent tour with Muhammet 😊 - I had a late afternoon tour of Hagia Sophia with Muhammet which ended up being a private tour as no one else joined us on a Monday in late September. Muhammet is very knowledgeable and cares about sharing his knowledge with you in a way that keeps your interest. Strongly recommend it and I hope to do another tour with him soon. ❤️
