- Arco Da Vila - Arco da Vila is the main entrance to the old city of Faro.
It is considered a unique example of Arab architecture in Portugal.
- Old Town Faro - In this part of the town, we will appreciate the architecture and have some more tastings, including some delicious Portuguese wine.
- Paço Episcopal de Faro - The Episcopal Palace of Faro is located in Largo da Sé, in the historic centre of Faro. It was built to serve as the official residence of the Bishop of the Algarve.
- Turm Faro Cathedral - The interior of the Cathedral of Faro contains one of the most valuable artistic collections from the 17th and 18th centuries in the Algarve.
In Largo da Sé, two other notable buildings deserve attention: the Paço Episcopal and the Seminário Episcopal de S. José.
- Arc of Repouso - The Arco do Repouso, which translates to ‘Arch of Rest’, has an intriguing backstory that dates back to medieval times.

My aim is to offer you an authentic private food tour in Faro. You will taste 10 Portuguese dishes (including local delicacies) and also drink Portuguese wine and beer. In between, we will visit the highlights of the capital of the Algarve, such as Sé de Faro or the Paço Episcopal de Faro.

The meeting point in Faro is near the Arco da Vila, the entrance to the Old Town. I will be there to welcome you. Please be at your meeting point 5 minutes before the scheduled time. If you are driving, you can park near the old wall.

A Must While in Faro! - Wish I could give this tour more stars! We had a wonderful time. Learned a lot about the history of dark and enjoyed delicious food and drink. If you’re in Faro this food tour is a must!

Great and knowledgeable guide, and good food. - The guide was very friendly and knew a lot about Faro and the area. The food that he had selected was tasty and the restaurants we stopped at were all in scenic or picturesque locations. Overall, a great experience! Highly recommend this tour!

Wonderful afternoon, highly recommended! - Jorge is a nice man with a lot of enthusiasm. He takes his time and shows you all the beautiful places. The places where we had something to eat were well chosen. We had a wonderful afternoon.

Great tour filled with food, wine, beer and the local history of Faro. - Great tour of Faro with Jorge. He was very knowledgeable of Faro’s history and we visited some excellent restaurants trying the local cuisine including local beers and wines. Would recommend if visiting Faro!

Recommended! - For me personally an absolute highlight on our Algarve trip!
Our guide showed us some very beautiful spots in Faro and gave us a little insight into the history of the city!
The food we selected was really delicious and also gave us a little insight into the food culture!
If you want to experience something culinary, I can only recommend this tour!

Disappointing - Tour guide canceled due to illness about 2.5 hrs before start of tour. Be aware this can happen, in this instance it left me with no alternative options as I am unable to reschedule as offered (for three days later), or schedule another tour in Faro. Very much changed my Faro experience
