A Great Way to Spend Time in Faro - Our food tour with Ester was incredible! She gave us a great history tour of the city along with our food tour. Each stop was unique and we loved all of the food. We took our 15-year old and Ester inspired him to try things he normally would not. She has many contacts throughout the city and everyone seems delighted to see her. That was fun! She also gave us many recommendations for activities to do while in Faro and other foods to try. I would recommend booking this!

Faro - Our tour was AMAZING! Ester was the best guide ever. She felt like family. She knew so much and told some great stories. She made us feel like locals . Highly recommend

Highlight of our trip in the Algarve region!! - We met Ester at the meeting point and it was pure fun from there. She spent some time explaining the history of Faro as we walked to our first stop. I don't want to ruin any of the surprises, but the food and drink at every stop were FABULOUS. I am an avid wine drinker, while my husband doesn't drink any wine. Ester was kind enough to get him beer at each of the stops (He's a Sagres fan now!). He is also a fairly picky eater, but loved almost every food item he was served. Thank you so much for a wonderful evening filled with great food and fellowship!! Do NOT miss this tour!!!

Faro, food & drinks - My wife and I joined two other couples and a loan traveller for a great walking tour of Faro. Our guide talked us through the local history as we explored the town. We stopped at four restaurants to taste the local cuisine (food and wine). We were part of a multi national party, it was a great evening.

A great tour - Ester was amazing. I learned so much about the city and the food and drinks, all with passion and fun. Ester seems to know everyone in the city. I would recommend this tour without hesitation. It's a great way to get to know Faro

A blast! - Phenomenal! Ester was welcoming, funny, and a ball of energy! The food was delicious and plentiful and enough drinks for everyone to get tipsy. My favourite dish was the bacalhaus a bras - a bowl of simple ingredients yet flavourful! I highly recommend this tour for anyone in the area that wants an introduction to Portuguese cuisine/dishes

More food than you can eat!! - Food was amazing. And plentiful. Taken to 3 completely different restaurants. Atmosphere at each was totally different from the others which was pleasant to experience. Guide was knowledgeable about local history. We learned quite a bit.

Fun walking food tour - The walking food tour was fun. The restaurants served a variety of Portuguese dishes with wine or beer. We also learned a bit of Faro history. On other food tours we also learned the history behind the food, which would also be interesting.

Nice but expensive - The tour and the concept is great. The food and drinks (we had wine) is also nice. Not extraordinary but local, and after all that's the point. Our guide smoked cigarrette(s) during the tour without asking the participants if it was ok (both my wife and myself have a hard time with the smoke), and frankly spoken, that should not happen during a guided tour. It gives a feeling of ignorance, whether it was intentional or not. The tour is quite a bit overpriced. Nice but expensive. These are the reasons for not rating it higher than 3 stars.
