Family Vacation/Kid's Birthday - My family and I really enjoyed our stay at iberostar Rosehall Beach. They even surprised my son with a birthday strip across our room door he enjoyed it completely. Check-in was also a breeze. Customer service was a 5/5 for me. They were attentive, alaways checking on you at restaurants and always gives you a warm and pleasant greeting. Place is really kids friendly. Not alot of food variety but sufficient to find something to eat from vegetarians to meat lovers. Another plus for me was parking. Not often you go to these big hotels and get perfect parking. Iberostar has alot of parking and the area appears safe. Pool was right size 4ft 4inches I believe and the swim up bar was a plus. Also I spotted about 3 lifeguards at our pool when I was there. Foam party was a plus. Lots of things/activities to do and never a dull moment. So much things to do, I didn't even have to register my son with the kids club. We both enjoyed the pool and beach alot, didn't get a chance to explore the other things around hotel to do. Next time will try to do more than 2 nights so I can better enjoy what this hotel has to offer. Booked 2 nights at a restaurant and only ended up doing Italian. The night I chose to do Japanese I got a 9pm reservation because that was all they had. Just so happened that night they had Japanese cuisine in the regular restaurant. Had some good sushi there and after consuming Japanese cuisine, I was too full and sleepy for the 9pm. Lol. Had no issues with my room. Big enough space for 4 persons. Bathroom size was also good and we all slept well in our beds. Had no problems with this hotel and will definitely be booking again.

Overall very good - Overall we found this resort to be great. The staff were exceptionally sweet and shout out to Kelecian, Kacian, Jerome, and Yosauna. I do feel that the fruit selection at the buffet could be better and more fresh like at Suites property. Some fruit we actually took was old and rotten and was very surprising. The outdoor showers and faucets also need some maintenance. A fun activity the resort hosted was bracelet making with Sandra which was a dun activity. Sandra was very nice and we really enjoyed making the bracelets for each of us! Overall was a very good experience especially for a young family. I would visit the property again.

Great value, No problems - First let me say do not listen to most of the negative reviews about this resort though everyone does have their own opinions. This was out 15th trip to Jamaica and first at this resort. The rooms were very clean and attended to though the bathrooms do need to be updated but had no issues with waterpressure, check in was pretty quick, thanks akeem. Beach was nice and the seaweed people complained about was not on the beach, sea grass was in the water but many spots where there was none. Everything we ate at the buffet was pretty good, BBQ restaurant was pretty good, Italian was suprisingly good, Japanese was very good with plenty of food. Pool and pool bar was nice though the bar down on the beach could have had more friendly people, seems like some workers didn't want to be there. Jerk grill on the beach was good. Lobby bar was great in the evening with many thanks to Dean, Sattae, Roshawn, Tanya and many others. They were fun to be with. All in all it was a great trip and I think we would definetly go back.

Winter Getaway - Went to Iberostar Rose Hall Beach this past October, since we had not been to Montego Bay in a while. The resort itself is Close to the airport and rather large since it encompases 2 resorts( Rose Hall Suites is another). The rooms themselves are nice and spacious so you can feel comfortable even with your luggage out. The mini bar leaves something to be desired though with such a limited selection. (sprite/coke or red stripe beer, no juice or other beverage flavor or mini alcohols). The room come with empty water bottles which you can fill up for free on each floor in designated hallway spots. It's semi-convenient but may not be very hygienic, (when are the fountains cleaned with what how often?) They are sitting out in the open so any person for animal or insect has access to them. I used them anyway cause I grew up in NYC drinking from outside fountains and hydrants but that's just me. One big miss was the beach, very small and had a lot of seaweed. After being to several Caribbean countries I cannot walk from nice sand into underwater grass. There were small clear sections but everyone was congregated there so that would have been no fun. We ended up going to Doctors cave beach off site and paying $50 for a cab ride to do so, That's another minus, cabs to go places are expensive. $40 and up to go off resort. Food was good and workers were great! Drinks ok with a lot of top shelf included. Went on a side tour of the Rose hall Suites adults only side(Time Share hustle) That did is nicer but the beach is just as small and sea weed filled and it appears that its adults only in name as I saw kids in the pool with adults and on the beach where I did not expect any. Probably will find a different resort if we decide to go back to jamaica.
