Outlander enthusiasts will recognize this charming village as the Mercat Cross, featured as Cranesmuir Village in the series.
- St. Andrews - Arriving in the breathtaking medieval town of St Andrews just in time for lunch and refreshments, visitors can explore the historic town. St Andrews is rich in history, hosting Scotland’s oldest university, a renowned cathedral, a famous golf course, and is where Prince William met Kate. It is named after Scotland’s Patron Saint. To discover more about St Andrew and his dedicated day, visitors can choose to visit the Castle or the Cathedral for an additional fee paid directly to the attraction (optional extra).
- Falkland - Falkland, a delightful village in Fife, is the next stop on the tour. Known for its rich history, scenic streets, and ties to Scottish royalty, the town’s renaissance palace was a favored retreat for the Stuart Kings and Queens. Outlander fans might also recognize Falkland’s streets as 1940s Inverness in the show. Visitors have the option to visit Falkland Palace for an additional fee paid directly to the attraction (optional extra).
- Queensferry - On the return journey to Glasgow, there will be a photo stop at an engineering marvel. Spanning three centuries of Scottish industry and innovation, the three bridges across the Forth—the Queensferry Crossing, the Forth Road Bridge, and the Forth Rail Bridge—are a spectacular sight. From here, it is only a short distance before returning to Glasgow, concluding the 1-day tour.

Enjoyable and Entertaining - Our tour was enjoyable, with the very energetic and entertaining Wee Davie. Ever so knowledgeable about the sites we passed and we went to, plus the side jokes made our day. This is our third Timberbush tour and we absolutely recommend using this company.

Little Davy was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, accommodating, and full of humour. A fantastic experience overall. - We had a fantastic day with Little Davy as our driver and tour guide. He went out of his way to accommodate everyone and made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. His knowledge of Scotland was outstanding, and his sense of humour kept us smiling throughout the day. Highly recommend!

Great tour and Great tour guide - Great tour. Guide was courteous, generous and always wished to make the tour as wonderful as it could be. Would love to have the same guide on future tours. We were lucky to get him on two!

Enjoyable experience - I loved the tour. It was a good mix of experiences. I especially enjoyed The Kelpies and would have liked more time there. St Andrews was also great and I enjoyed seeing the Cathedral and Castle ruins. I did request to be dropped up to the Cathedral ruins as it was too far for to walk both ways and Gerry kindly did that for me. Gerry was a good knowledgeable guide/driver.

Wee Davy was amazing. He had so much history, stories and jokes in his repertoire it was unbelievable. - I would absolutely recommend this tour and Wee Davy our guide had so much knowledge to share. Totally great day out.

Great time with lots of great sites - Jack did a great job showing us Scotland and telling about the local history and great hidden gems along the way. He was knowledgeable about the areas and willing to share all sorts of useful tips.

Don't miss this one! - Wonderful way to spend the day. The Kelpies were beautiful and much better than any photos!! The towns we stopped in were lovely. We really enjoyed the visit to St Andrews. Our guide, Neil, was fantastic!! He has a great personality and is the perfect tour guide!!

Neil was awesome...5 stars - Did a full day tour from Glasgow in a smaller van, only 14 people on the tour. Neil was very knowledgeable about the areas we were driving through and the attractions we were seeing. Was very prompt and always felt safe with his driving skills. His "dad" jokes, as well call them in the US, were funny. I would be happy to be on another tour that he would guide. Great day, great weather, great time.
