Great Tour Guide - Stewart was a fantastic guide who knows the area well. He picked us up right at the cruise terminal door in Greenock and toured the Kelpies and then the boat tour at Falkirk Wheel. It was a great six hours of touring and one of the best excursions during our Scotland cruise. Very comfortable van for the four in our group.

Great tour with Stuart! - We saw the Kelpies and the Fallirk wheel with Stuart of Tartan Tours. Stuart was an excellent guide, knowledgeable and friendly. Both stops were very interesting and we learned a lot of details from Stuart. It was fun driving through the countryside. Stuart was on time to pick us up. He is a good careful driver. Vehicle is clean and comfortable. We will definitely use him again and highly recommend him to anyone!

Off the beaten path gem - Stewart with Tartan tours was friendly and professional, answered all communication quickly and was a lot of fun. We originally had little interest in the Kelpies, just the wheel however once Stewart gave us the background and then we saw them, we were blown away. A real eye opener and he knew the best places to get the best pictures. The Falkirk wheel did not disappoint!! A true engineering marvel and a great experience seeing it work and then taking the ride which was Stewart’s suggestion. The lunch items served at the site were quite tasty and quick. Great value for the money.

Morning with Stewart and the Kelpies! - What a wonderful, informative and fun day we spent with Stewart at the Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel. What a treat to have a taste of Irn bru as we traveled over the Scottish roadways! We never felt rushed and the photo ops provided great memories of this experience. I brought a Sunday Today Show mug with me to take pictures... Stewart was excited to get in the act!

Outstanding Day Trip From Edinburgh! - This is an outstanding day trip from Edinburgh!! The Old City is great, but here you will see fantastic examples of "modern" Scotland. The Kelpies are beautiful 30-meter high stainless steel sculptures, artistically moving and technologically astounding. The Falkirk Wheel has to be seen in person to be experienced (we first saw it on a TV travel show). A Ferris wheel for boats, it is an amazing engineering wonder, yet based on an ancient principle (you will learn all about it when you ride it). And, it is a ton of fun! You'll also tour the 500-year old Linlithgow Palace, set in the beautiful Scottish countryside. Now, a few words about Stewart, the owner/operator. He is entirely trustworthy and reliable. We booked this tour and sent a deposit before the pandemic. Three years later, he remembered us and honored the deposit. He was punctual and his timing was perfect, to both see the wheel in action and ride it. He knows his topics and history. Plus, he is a very nice guy with a sunny disposition who truly enjoys his work! This private tour is well worth the money!

Great start to a visit to Scotland - When I signed up for this tour, it was the Falkirk Wheel I was interested in, and the Kelpies not at all. But I loved both parts of this trip, and Stewart was a wonderful guide, very friendly and easy to get along with, and very knowledgable. The Kelpies really are magnificent when you see them in person. It seems to be a trend for me that I end up really liking the part of a trip that I was not too pscyed about. I've just returned from Scotland, and the day we spent with Stewart was one of the best days of our two week trip.
