Into the Heart of the Desert

The sun was barely peeking over the horizon as we set off from Cairo, the city slowly waking up behind us. Our guide, Rayn, and driver, Osama, were our companions for the day, and they made sure we were well-prepared for the adventure ahead. As the day drew to a close, we enjoyed a delicious meal at a nearby settlement. The flavors of chicken, potatoes, rice, and salad were a perfect end to an unforgettable day. With full stomachs and happy hearts, we made our way back to Cairo, stopping briefly at a local market to pick up some papyrus art.
