Upon reaching the Denali Highway;
Spend the afternoon engaging in wildlife observation, photography, guided wild berry picking, and hiking. Gain insights into local flora, ethical foraging practices, and traditional uses of the berries.
There is also an opportunity for some prospecting and gold panning!
Arrive at the Lodge in the early evening, settle in, and enjoy dinner at the on-site restaurant.
As night falls, engage in stargazing and aurora viewing, weather permitting.

- We will discuss the specifics of the start time of the tour and pickup at your lodging a day or two before your reserved tour date.
- Please bring the following:
- Weather appropriate layers, temperatures in the Fall can easily dip down into the teens at night. Day temps are generally in the 50’s Fahrenheit.
- Waterproof hiking shoes or Winter Boots. Please do NOT wear sneakers.
- Sunglasses
- Hat, Gloves and Extra Socks
- Bug Spray, just in case
- Flashlight or headlamp
- Water bottle, snacks, and personal items.
- Camera and tripod for night sky photography (optional). Rentals also available.
- Make sure to bring your great sense of adventure!
- This tour is not suitable for children under 12 years of age. Although this tour is very safe, younger children tend to get bored easier on a multi-hour road trip. Please call to discuss specifics, we may be able to make exceptions.
- This tour is not suggested for anyone with severe mobility issues. We will be in and out of a vehicle often and walking on uneven terrain. Please call to discuss any mobility issues before booking, to see if we can safely accommodate you.
