Glass house at Cleary Dome is fantastic! - What a welcome surprise to be able to see a great night of Aurora from the glass house! We could go outside and take photos, then come back inside and warm up, keeping track of the Aurora from the floor to see new windows. Treats, cell phone chargers, comfy chairs.... So many thoughtful additions.

Aurora Bucket List Experience - Chasing the Aurora has always been a dream for me and my partner. We didn’t get to see it in Iceland and Norway, but we finally checked it off our bucket list here in Fairbanks! Michael was amazing — very professional, guiding us to the best spots and taking photos for us along the way. I truly enjoyed this experience and would highly recommend it!

Chasing Dreams - Finally saw the aurora! All the waiting and chasing was so worth it. Honestly, just watching it dance across the sky was such a peaceful, magical moment.

Cccc - You need patience at times waiting for the Aurora. Once it starts it is something to see.
Suggest it.

Best aurora tour - The tour guide drove us south for two hours to ensure we could see the aurora. Finally, we got to see it! The aurora slanted down from the clouds, looking extremely spectacular. The tour guide's explanations were also very thorough. We gained a better understanding of Fairbanks' culture. I strongly recommend that everyone come and experience it.

Bad conditions but tour guide made valient attempt - Didn't have luck with viewing aurora on this trip but not due to lack of trying. First stop was a cabin with large windows, snacks and drinks (which would be great in winter months) but after an hour cloud cover wasn't clearing. So back into van and drove about 1-1.5 hr searching for some clearing. Quick stops in couple other places with no luck. Cloud cover looked thick and extensive when flying into Fairbanks. But luck of draw as some locals showed great pictures from 2 and 4 days prior. Did see it on our last evening, as they say with 3 nights, have 90% chance of encounter.

Drove for six hours but no aurora - While our guide did try on November 15, we think the forecast was too dicey for the effort, with cloudiness to the north and south of Fairbanks. He drove initially for about 2 hours to the north, then turned around and drove about an hour south of Fairbanks before saying "I give up." There was no sky color anywhere, nothing but clouds. He didn't communicate well about the situation or requests for rest stops. It would have been appreciated if, at the very least, he told us more about the process (e.g., predictors available online) of searching for the aurora borealis, conditions needed for it, likelihood of seeing it, and causes of various colors which might appear. Though he did offer water at the start of the trip, it was never offered again. Contrary to the TripAdvisor advertisement, there were no snacks, hot chocolate, nor coffee ever offered. We realize the disclaimer, but this probably was more unlikely than others to have been a fruitful aurora chase. Our party of six was very disappointed.

Not as advertised. - Utterly disappointed that the trip was not cancelled or rescheduled in advance because the poor weather conditions were developing before the tour started. The “what’s included” states snacks, hot chocolate and coffee but none of them were provided, for the whole 5 hour trip. No rest stops either. Our tour guide tried his best to catch the lights but nature didn't support us. Consider this review as a heads up of what to expect.

Choose a different company - Very disappointed with this company. The weather was cloudy, so we were half expecting them to cancel the tour, or give us the option to. They did not, and picked us up as scheduled and started driving around. We noticed the clouds started clearing up and looking more patchy, so we were excited that we seemed to be headed in the right direction. But, after about 30 minutes, the guide turned back around and drove back to where the clouds were thicker and it was starting to storm. He drove to 2 more locations and waited awhile in each one. None of the locations we went to were very far outside of the city, we seemed to just make a triangle around Fairbanks. I understand that the company does not control the weather, but it made no sense for him to turn back around and drive TOWARDS the clouds when they had started to clear up in the first direction.
Other companies with cancel the tour if the weather is bad, or offer a partial refund if the tour happens but no auroras are seen. This company did neither. Do yourself a favor and pick a smaller company with a local guide who actually knows what they’re doing.

Horrible experience, false advertisement. No hot chocolate, hot water or snacks & our driver didn’t speak English - We should have been offered an alternate date or refund due to weather as stated in offer. We drove into 3 storms for 4 hours & of course never saw the lights
