The site is surrounded by lush mountainous regions. On clear days, you can see Mount Gede-Pangrango to the north from the top. The view is stunning, often leaving visitors more captivated by the scenery than the site’s mystery.
The journey to the site from the main district road offers beautiful views, including villages, farms, rice fields, hills, and tea plantations. The tea plantations, named Gunung Manik and Gunung Rosa, produce tea leaves for Indonesia’s famous ready-to-drink tea, Teh Botol Sosro.
