Outstanding service and tours - Highly recommend! We used Evora Cultural Experience for 3 different tours (Cork & Castle, Evora Jewish, and Monsaraz) on 3 separate days, which was a real risk if it didn't work out - but we would tour with them again in a heartbeat! Everyone was a consummate professional: warm, genuine, and knowledgeable. This starts at the top with Ricardo who worked closely with us to arrange tours based on very specific requests. It is also reflected in the guides: Paulo, João and Elsa (and Rui, our driver) who were a pleasure to spend time with (this is hugely important when you spend a half or full day with someone!). Each tour was interesting and worthwhile, and the company even gifted us with the sweetest and most thoughtful little souvenir that just put the final exclamation point on how personalized our experience was. Again, we highly recommend Evora Cultural Experience!

History of Evora - Our tour guide was Joao. We received an excellent service and tour from him. He was very professional, knowledgeable and pleasant. He embarked is in the history of Evora in a very interesting way. Joao also point to us other areas of interest, told us of a good place to lunch among other things. I recommend 100% a tour with Joao if you are in Evora

Evora - João was very knowledgeable about the city of Evora. He was able to answer all of our questions, and showed us/told us about things we never would have know ! Super interesting tour.

Evora Private Walking Tour - Although early, not to mention a somewhat chilly morning for Evora's usual climate at this time of year, Elsa started us off on a warm and cheerful walk through the sights and sounds of this beautiful and historical town. We loved how she had historical facts and figures at her finger tips and was happy to engage us in conversations about the local art, culture and politics of the times past and present. She even helped us (patiently and kindly, I might add) with a few language pronunciations - always helpful when visiting another country. An added bonus - a wry sense of humour - something always appreciated when dealing with the facts and fiction of history! Fascinating Tour with Excellent Guide - This was the best tour we have ever taken. Our guide Joao is a PHD candidate and has studied right in this city. My wife and I have been taken many tours over the years and this tour with this guide was the most interesting and informative of them all. Many of us have not understood the importance of Evora. Our guide didn't just talk, he invited questions and led us into locations that many might not see. This is a must do tour.

Joao in Évora - Joao was a fantastic historian and guide who made every part of the tour enjoyable. I would recommend him every time. He was very knowledgeable about everything to do with Évora and is from the area too.

He had a great understanding, knowledge & enthusiasm of Evora history & was genuinely invested in teaching & showing us the points of interest without being boring. Don’t go to Évora…unless you’re booking a tour with this company - Our new favorite city to visit in Portugal after a 2.5 hour tour with João! Seriously, the best tour I’ve ever taken. Wish we had more time left to explore the city after learning so much about it. An amazing place made even better by the masterclass guided tour we experienced!
