Outstanding, highly recommended! - Very interesting and impressive monuments, thousands of years older than Stonehenge. Led by two trained archaeologists that could switch effortlessly between perfect English and perfect Portuguese. They explained what is known about these monuments, how they were made, what is known about the people that made them, and the rediscovery and conservation. Definitely the highlight of our trip to Evora, highly recommended.

A nice half day tour to see some remarkable megaliths while enjoying the Evora countryside. - Bianca and Goncalo were great. They contacted us before the tour to arrange the pick-up at our hotel. They were very knowledgeable with regard to all the sites. The sites required some walking, but were easy to get to. I don’t think we could have found them on our own.

A must do tour if in Evora! - The guides are both archeologists who are very knowledgable about the three sites visited. Each site is unique and fascinating. A must do tour if you are in Evora, with the highlight being the megalithic stone circles. They were flexible so we could go on the tour on a better weather day. Lovely and friendly people.

A great morning with good people. - The tour was excellent and the tour guides even better. The megaliths are truly a wonder, and the guides did such a great job of explaining them to us. A great way to spend a morning. The weather was cool in the morning, but it warmed up by the middle of the tour. I enjoyed both the tour and the company. They are lovely people.

We'll be back! - Because our flight was delayed more than a day, we unfortunately didn't arrive in Portugal in time to make this tour. I wanted to write a review, though, to commend Bianca and Goncalo for reaching out prior. She added me to her WhatsApp and gave clear instructions with photos of how to find her and her partner, adding that she was looking forward to showing us Evora. When I had to cancel, she was very accommodating, offering to accommodate our new travel schedule, and ultimately processing a refund when we couldn't come up with a solution. I look forward to returning to Portugal soon and rescheduling, to meet her and see Evora.

Archeological tour - Bianca and Goncalo were excellent tour guides. Both have degrees in archeology so they could really give a thorough overview of each one of the three sights. They explained the time frame of each sight, purpose of the sight and how such large stones were moved. They also provided a history of Evora and information about today in Evora. Thanks for a great tour.

Mysterious Megaliths! - Bianca and Gonçalo arrived early at our meeting place, which happened to be a Roman Temple in Evora Portugal. 😳 After a brief introduction, we climbed into their van and we were on our adventure. Bianca and Gonçalo were a great team as they shared history and a preview of where and what we would be visiting during our ride. Almendres Cromlech was our first stop and it was amazing to see and hear the details of this historic place. After that we traveled a short distance to the Menir, where once again, learned a significant amount of history regarding the location and the people who left the huge stones for their purpose. The last stop was a drive to the Great Dolman of Zambujeiro! This was another fascinating stop where we heard how it was discovered and what archaeological teams had learned about this location. It was an exceptional say and we all hated to see it end. Bianca and Gonçalo were a great team as they shared history, stories and likely reasons, based on scientific evidence, gathered locally and around the world. Gonçalo was an excellent driver and we traveled over some rough roads, which he expertly smoothed out using different techniques. His efforts were sincerely appreciated and noticed by all. Highly recommend this tour! Goncolo
