TIA - Upon your arrival at Kathmandu airport, a representative will greet you at the arrival gate, holding a sign with your name. You will then be transferred to your hotel.

Fly Kathmandu to Lukla then trek to Phakding (2,652m/8,700ft)

Lukla - 3 to 4 hours trek: After breakfast, we will head to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport for an early morning flight to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft), the starting point of our trek. Upon arrival in Lukla, we will begin our trek through the thriving village of Lukla until we reach Phakding. Overnight in Phakding. Included meals: Breakfast.

Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m/11,280 ft)

Namche Bazaar - 5 to 6 hrs trek: Walking through a picturesque pine forest, the trail leads us along the Dudh Koshi River, crossing several suspension bridges, including the famous Hillary Suspension Bridge. We will first catch a stunning view of the glistening Mt. Thamserku (6618m). Overnight in Namche Bazaar. Included meals: Breakfast.

Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,870m/12,694ft)

Tengboche - 5 to 6 hrs trek: After breakfast, we head towards Tengboche, enjoying magnificent views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama Dablam, and a close-up view of Thamserku. Monjo - 5 to 6 hrs trek: The trail to Namche Bazaar clings to the steep wooded slope beyond Kyangjuma, winding through several bends. We will look out for wildlife such as mountain goats, snow leopards, and colorful pheasants while passing through the forest along the trail. A steep descent from Namche Hill leads to a suspension bridge crossing the Dudh Koshi River near the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers. This also means our porters will have a less strenuous walk back to Lukla tomorrow. Overnight in Monjo. Included meals: Breakfast.

Monjo to Lukla (2,800m/9,186ft)

Lukla - 4 to 5 hrs: Today we enjoy the last walk at a lower altitude in the Everest region. Most of today’s trail is flat, although we will still encounter some undulating terrain with a mix of open plains, rhododendron, and pine forests, with Kwangde peak in the distant background. This last evening in the mountains is the perfect opportunity to spend some relaxing moments with the whole crew, as some of our group may not be returning with us to Kathmandu. Overnight in Lukla. Memorable EBC trek! - I finally get to tick off EBC from my bucket list! I wanted to experience EBC trekking for a long time and decided to go with Epic Adventures on 24 July 2024. The booking and arrangements were smooth and straightforward. I highly recommend Epic Adventures for the EBC trek! I was lucky to have Nima as my guide. He is very knowledgeable and fluent in English. I learned a lot from him throughout my trip. Nima is very professional as a guide and explained everything thoroughly during my trek. Trekking with Nima was insightful and rewarding. I gained a lot of knowledge about mountaineering in the Himalayas, as well as the culture and history of Nepal. Nima is a very caring guide. He ensured my personal safety throughout the trek, frequently checking on how I felt. He provided great advice on how to acclimatize to the high altitude. I was a bit worried about acclimatizing well, but with Nima’s care and guidance, I felt more assured that everything would go smoothly. Nima was not just a guide during the trip; he became a great friend and buddy. I went on the trip solo and was lucky to meet Nima, who is cheerful and willing to share. I had lots of great conversations and fun with him and truly enjoyed myself! I am fortunate to have chosen Epic Adventures and had Nima as my guide, making my EBC trek so memorable. I am thankful to Nima for taking such good care of me throughout the trip and making my EBC trek a success.

Most fulfilling trip of my life. Everest is a must go. - The trek to Everest Base Camp was a childhood dream come true, and it was made extraordinary by our incredible Sherpa, Nima, and porter, Santosh. From the moment we set foot on the trail, their humor and care made our adventure into an unforgettable experience. Nima, with his adaptive walking pace helped us to conserve energy and also to pace ourselves for the day. He would remind us how many hours there were left of the trek, and how many balancing bridges we had to cross. He shared stories and insights that made our journey enjoyful. His encouragement kept our spirits high even when the altitude challenged us. Santosh, our porter, was extraordinary. His strength amazed us as he carried our belongings with a smile through both upwards and downwards of the trek. His favorite phrase was 'Boom Boom' with a big smile. Together, Nima and Santosh formed an exceptional team, making us feel like family. Their warmth and care extended beyond their roles, creating a bond that will forever remain in our hearts. They made our long trek truly fun and memorable. As we reached Everest Base Camp, we felt emotional and overjoyed. This journey was not just about the destination but about the incredible people who made it possible. Thank you, Nima and Santosh, for your unwavering support and for turning our adventure into a cherished memory. Till the day we come back to summit Everest, Boom Boom!

An Unforgettable Experience - I have just completed my EBC Trek with my lovely guy Nima and our porter Santosh from Epic Adventures. I am very impressed with the smooth transaction i had making this booking even though there were many changes made on my end and even due to the unforgiving weather. From the day we arrived at Kathmandu, we were provided with the utmost hospitality from Epic Adventures ensuring our smooth transfer from the airport to the hotel and also making sure that we were well taken care of. Nima was a very well versed guide in terms of knowledge and professionalism. Throughout the entire trek, he ensure that we were feeling well mentally and also physically by always checking in on us. With his precise guidance, none of us felt any form of altitude sickness whatsoever. He too was very knowledgeable in the region we were in, with every question and mountain we pointed to there wasn’t and instances where he could’nt answer or tell us the history of it. Nima wasnt just a guide he felt more like a friend joking together with us, teaching us traditional Nepali Dances and even chatting with us, making this trek just more enjoyable than it already is. Alongside Nima was our porter, Santosh. Even though he was a porter for this trip, He too made us feel warm and homely during the trek. He took every opportunity to make us laugh and smile though he is a man of few words only. His strength and perseverance was very commendable as he walked very long hours at a time and never did complain once. The two of them put together for this trip was the perfect combination we could ever asked for. Their energy matched our excitement all the time and they were more to us than just a guide and porter. Epic Adventures has made what seemed like an impossible idea super doable and very much enjoyable I can proudly say that after this 12 day trek i didn’t just gained amazing views and reaching one of the most iconic places in the world, i also made new friends that i can now call my family.

Great EBC experience - I recently completed the EBC trek with Nima from Epic Adventures as my guide, and Santosh as my porter. They both were amazing characters and lead us to an incredible journey starting from Lukla all the way to EBC. Nima was very professional with every aspect of the trek, he was always knowledgeable and punctual during our trek. His brotherly character truly showed when he always ask us about how we are feeling physically as well as how we are coping with the altitude. Santosh was also an amazing person and we are always amazed by his strength and willpower to carry our baggage throughout the hike. Thanks to Nima, Santosh and Epic Adventures, I was able to have an enjoyable experience where I felt like our guide was also family and a friend to us.

One of a kind, so grateful for this experience. - The whole experience was amazing, the company took such good care of us, they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met, from picking us up at the airport to dropping us at the hotel, picking us from the hotel and helping us buy the required equipment needed. Once we landed in Lukla our sherpa, Nima and our porter, Santosh handled everything, we felt so cosy, along the trek they told us what is good and what is bad, had so much patience with us especially since we were asking so many questions. From accommodations, to food, to questions about the specific mountains, to safety related queries, they handled everything under the sun. They have shown us so much love and guidance. Our sherpa was so knowledgeable about everything, he could say the exact elevation about any mountain we pointed based off memory, shown us how serious he took his job. We literally have zero negative comments, this experience has been one of a kind. Thank you once again to the company, to Shree, to Nima and to Santosh for taking care of us. Definitely would recommend them to my peers who are also interested in doing the EBC trek

Once in a lifetime experience - Highly recommend trip, you get what you pay for - professional guide (Ramkumar, Omar!), hospitality and carefree adventure (despite many unexpected happenings, of course) - Flexibility: the first day started with a surprise of unexpected delay of flight Kathmandu- Pokhara due to bad weather. Guide Ramkumar is able to flexibly adjust the schedule without killing ourselves - Professionalism and hospitality: Not only are Guide Ramkumar and porter Omar are able to give any question a rightaway answer (eg how long are we still there, how high are we now etc)generously shared stories, local language and music. It has to be the people that makes a trip truly special - Strong support: as a first-time trekker and a girl I am helplessly slow and fearful, without their support and encouragement I couldn’t have made it. Thanks to them I have become a more powerful version of myself, and learnt to enjoy whatever the circumstance is. Their optimism is truly inspirational
