A True Nepal Hiking Adventure - Thank you NHA, Tilak and Prem - I went on the Everest Base Camp Trek, as a solo traveller, in early June 2024. Although it was the start of the monsoon season, I am really happy that we had luck with the clear skies at both Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. My experience with Nepal Hiking Adventure was exceptional from start to finish. Their email replies were prompt and thorough, answering all my queries about the trip with great detail and patience. Their service was impeccable and they were there every step of the way, ensuring a smooth, well-organised and enjoyable trip for me, even despite it being the start of the monsoon season. And of course - huge special mention to my guide, Tilak, and my porter, Prem, who were instrumental in making my once-in-a-lifetime adventure so enjoyable. Tilak, was an outstanding and experienced guide that made sure that I was comfortable and well taken care of through every step of the trek - he made sure I was fed well, comfortable, safe through the more technical parts of the trek and monitored my health as we progressed up higher elevations. He had always secured the best accommodations for me through the trek with the best views/amenities. Armed with more than a decade of experience as well as his robust knowledge of the Himalayas and more, Tilak had always mentally prepared me for the day ahead and during the trek, always had interesting snippets of information about the Himalayan Mountain range, which allowed me to appreciate whatever views in front of us, to a deeper level. Thank you Tilak, for this amazing trip and I highly endorse him to be your top-choice guide for your trips with NHA. Prem, my porter, consistently went out of his way to ensure I was always comfortable. One evening he even gathered wood to start a fire when I was feeling cold. I was extremely touched by his gesture. His dedication to lightening my day pack and his friendly demeanor made the journey much more enjoyable. I’m grateful for the bond we formed, and I’m happy to call him a friend. I highly recommend Prem as your porter–his exceptional service and warm personality will enhance your experience. Thank you again NHA, Tilak and Prem.

Top 3 best experience of my life - An absolutely 10/10 trip - from the planning to booking, to the guides, porters and the entire trip itself Booking Communication with Bishnu was easy through whatsapp and replies were quick Guides and Porters Our guides Tilak and Dorchi were both amazing and very experienced. Our porters Suresh and Kazi were gems. We absolutely lucked out with all them, such sweet kind people. Even with the many changes during the trip they were always on the ball and so accommodating. Tilak and Dorchi were also so patient and did not rush us through the trek letting us go at our own pace. The accommodations we stayed at were also generally pleasant, with some really good ones too. They were all also so fun and made the trip feel like I was hiking with friends instead. Definitely a trip of a lifetime made 10x better because of the people especially our guides. Really thankful that I ended up choosing Nepal Hiking Adventure and met all the amazing people I was meant to meet.

10/10 Couldn’t have asked for more - We recently completed a 16-day Everest Base Camp trek with Nepal Hiking Adventure, and the experience immensely exceeded our expectations. Our guides, Tilak and Dorchi, and our porters, Suresh and Kaji, were outstanding and played a crucial role in making this journey memorable. From the moment we started, everything was perfect. We initially planned additional days at Namche Bazaar and Dingboche, but upon meeting fellow trekkers, we adjusted our plans. Everyone was incredibly accommodating. After reaching the base camp, we decided to extend our trip to Cho La Pass and Gokyo Lake. Our guides made all the necessary arrangements seamlessly, and our porters were kind enough to accommodate these changes as well. Every night, Tilak conducted a thorough debrief of the day's activities and provided a detailed plan for the next day, ensuring we always knew what to expect. Both Tilak and Dorchi took exceptional care of us, anticipating our needs before we even had to ask. The trek itself was filled with fun and laughter. We spent time being silly and goofy together, bringing back lots of memories in videos and pictures to look back on. The team shared the highs together, and they made the lows much more bearable. They were always there when we needed them. In our free time, we enjoyed playing cards, carom, and even pool as a team, which added to the camaraderie. This trip has been incredibly memorable, and I wholeheartedly recommend Tilak and Dorchi as guides, Suresh and Kaji as porters, and Nepal Hiking Adventure for anyone considering an Everest Base Camp trek. We are super thankful for their support and couldn't have asked for a better experience. We're now facing post-trek withdrawal symptoms because of how amazing the trip was!

Pleasant - It was a good personal experience. The tour operator did only as much as promised. Guide was a nice guy- but was not as engaged or attentive. He was professional and did his job- and got me to Basecamp.

Seamless experience where all you need to do is take photos - Bishnu was very easy to communicate and work with during the entire booking process, as well as during the tour end when flight cancelations caused minor disruptions. Once in Kathmandu the transfer to hotel and then the tour start next day was seamless. The guides Tilak and Dorje were very easy going and a great company for the 2 weeks. They took care of all our needs during the trek including meals, water, etc. When I added 3 extra days to the trek at thr last minute to include Gokyo, the guides and porters were very accommodating. Overall a 5-star experience. Will definitely recommend to friends and will return hopefully in near future.

Amazing - We spent an amazing two weeks completing the trek to EBC. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide; Raj was patient, knowledgeable and made our trip very enjoyable. Our porters Hermonte and Rosen were also incredible and so friendly. Bisnu responded to queries and questions promptly. We had some trouble flying in and out of Lukla due to weather conditions but Nepal Hiking Company did everything in their power to ensure we travelled safely and made our international flights on time. Overall, I would strongly recommend Nepal Hiking Company and would book with them again for future tours!

Great experience with Nepal Hiking Adventure - My wife and I’s successful trek to the Everest Base Camp was made possible by Nepal Hiking Adventure. First, planning the trip with Bishnu was very easy. He is quick to reply even with the time difference and always very polite. He answered all our questions and was very accommodating to our requests. Bishnu arranged for us a very nice hotel and all the transportation needed. During the trek, Tilak was our guide and he was very dependable. Tilak knows the trail very well and gives very detailed briefing for the following day. He is very easy going and relaxed during the hike, which helped calm the nerves during the high altitude and especially when the weather started getting worse. Tilak set a nice slow pace that ensured we reached the base camp. When going back, Bishnu was able to book us on an earlier flight out of Lukla due to concerns over the bad weather. Overall, I would hire Nepal Hiking Adventure again if I visit Nepal again for another trek and would definitely recommend them to anyone!

May EBC trek - My husband and I had a great experience completing an 11 day trek to Everest base camp with Nepal hiking adventures company. Right from when we arrived at the airport in Kathmandu we were taken care of with the company picking us up, completing a briefing of what to expect, helping us find gear to rent and ensuring all of our questions were answered. My husband even forgot his poles at the hotel and the company made the extra effort to pick up those poles and bring it to us at the airport. During the trek Tilak was very patient with us ensuring we knew what to expect daily with the trek. We are grateful for the hiking pace and his advice to ensure we had a successful trek. He kept us positive and motivated throughout the trek and we appreciate his company and knowledge of the trek

An amazing trek to Everest Basecamp - My friends and I completed the Everest Base Camp Trek with Nepal Hiking Adventures and I would definitely recommend using this company. We contacted Bisnu (the owner) before getting to Nepal. His replies were prompt and it was very easy to get everything sorted and booked before coming. We were picked up from the airport and accommodation was provided in a lovely hotel before and after the trek. Our guide Raaz was fantastic - patient, encouraging, positive, answered all of our questions, did his very best to make sure that everyone made it - everything that you would need in a guide. He was also so knowledgeable in relation to all of the mountains and the area. It was such an incredible experience. We also booked the Annapurna circuit with this company.
