Great company and best guide ever - The end to end process was great and everything was planned really well by Himalayan Recreation. We couldn’t have had a better guide, Raj. We are in our 70s and Raj always believed in us and gave us confidence that getting to base camp was going to happen. He knew all the ins and outs of everything, he was kind, considerate, patient, helpful, informative and we were very lucky to have him as our guide. He’s a thoroughly decent guide. He turned our dream into reality. Ask for Raj as your guide when you book with Himalayan Recreation.

Amazing experience at EBC - We participated in Everest Base Camp, one of the most beautiful experiences of our lives! It was an exhilarating and life-changing experience! We saw the most stunning views, surrounded by giant mountains. We have seen a reality of living that everyone should see once in their lives. This trip is a mix of sporting experience, authentic meeting with locals, surpassing oneself, connection with nature and wonder of the landscapes! Our guide was professional and friendly, and was very adaptive in adapting to our condition. We both had symptoms of altitude sickness, and we felt well supported and safe with our guide checking our oxygen levels to make the right decisions along the way. Our guide, Kancha, was one of the favorites of the adventure, he was so attentive and caring, always smiling, we consider him a true friend! We had a planned route, which was changed to accommodate the fact that we were tired! I would give 10/10 for the exemplary service provided to us by the agency, that also call us when we got sick to make sure everything was fine. The owner was very friendly and professional and we would wholeheartedly recommend this company and guide Kancha to anyone who wants to visit EBC. Destination MappeTrotteuse

Everything was organized down to the smallest detail and I really appreciated the commitment, attention and care that this company dedicated to my entire group. What can I say... One of the most incredible trips of my life that would not have been so heartfelt if I had not met the guide, who accompanied us throughout the trek, not only a guide but a true friend with whom I was able to share a lot about the Nepalese culture and the history of those majestic mountains. Thanks Raj...the best guide in the world! Thanks to all the Himalayan Recreation company!!! 🇳🇵🏔️🙏 Fantastic!!!!! Until the next adventure!!! A big greeting from Italy 🇮🇹👋

Phenomenal trek to EBC with guide Narayan - From the moment we landed in Kathmandu and met Narayan who was there to receive us, we knew we were in good hands. We had been in touch with Bishnu of Himalayan Recreation for months before our trek and he was able to guide us well even before we reached Nepal. Narayan was there every step of the way to EBC and back and he became a close confidant as well as a great friend for us. I would give 10/10 for the exemplary service provided to us and would wholeheartedly recommend this company and guide Narayan to anyone who wants to visit EBC.

Unforgettable & Life Changing Experience - I decided to take this trip last minute. I was unprepared and uncertain at the time. However, I am so happy that I decided to go. It was an exhilarating and life-changing experience. Despite it being the rainy season, I saw the most stunning views. I will never forget the feeling of being surrounded by giant mountains and a vast wilderness. It was humbling and fascinating. I will always remember the things I saw, and the feeling of accomplishment after reaching EBC, but perhaps the part of the trip I enjoyed the most was the people. I made many great friends along the way. Often, we met at each stop to dine together. Sometimes we would even drink and dance together. We stayed in contact all the way back to Lukla where we had an amazing party to celebrate our achievements! I also can't forget to mention Narayan, originally my guide, by now someone I consider to be a true friend. During the trek he was happy to answer my many questions, and chat with me along the way. Before the trip he took time out of his day to help me prepare and buy the gear I needed. He went at a pace that was comfortable for me and was understanding for the entire trip. He took many great photos that I didn't even know about until he sent them to me when I got back. Overall, Narayan was a very professional, caring, and fun guide to have. When things were looking down, (Like when we got stuck in Lukla for a few days) He stayed positive and worked together with me to find a solution. I can highly recommend him to anyone. I want to thank him and Himalayan Recreation for everything!

Take Your Time - Season (the guide) was pretty cool. The porters were awesome! Definitely be selective about who you choose to do this hike with. The guide will tailor the hike to the quickest in the group. The mountains are beautiful and the tea houses were good. I only wish we had more time to ask questions, learn about the surrounding landscapes, and take in more of the scenery, otherwise I would book with this company again.
