Walk through the heart of a forest filled with argan trees and various other species until you reach the ocean. After a stroll along the beach, you’ll head up towards the waterfalls of Sidi M’Barket and pass through terraced gardens. Due to recent droughts in Morocco, the waterfall is currently dry.

Nature puts on a magnificent display here. We then ascend the canyon to the village of Sidi Ahmed Essayeh. For lunch, a Moroccan family will welcome you to enjoy a traditional tajine. The hike takes place in the morning and concludes in the early afternoon as you pass through the village of Sidi Ahmed Essayeh.

This hike offers the chance to meet wonderful people and admire stunning and diverse landscapes… A delightful encounter with a local Berber family.

Fabulous - Fabulous, breathtaking scenery. Point of Sale in an argan forest to reach a beautiful beach. The guides speak French and Arabic, very friendly, attentive, thanks to them for their professionalism. Very much liked our exchanges on nature, life. Watch out for the heat. Plan to cover your head... with water... We ended up at home with a very good welcome and a very good meal.

Perfect setting for a local experience! - We are so pleased to have chosen this walking trail!. Naima ( our guide ) is a sweet soul that would definitely make a plus of your experience. Very knowledgeable of the local culture and landscape, she is eager to explore and explain all the details as you walk by diverse areas. Really a complete display of Essaouira city surroundings.

Superb hike. - An extraordinary time spent with friends!! Very beautiful hike, with different landscapes, we walked in an argan forest then on a deserted and magnificent beach to finish at a local's home to enjoy a delicious tagine. This hike introduced us to superb landscapes and, thanks to our guide Ottmane, has a cultural dimension!! We had a lot of information on the flora, fauna, Moroccan culture….. In addition to his kindness, friendliness and humor. A must do absolutely!!

A must do! - This hike was extraordinary! The diversity of landscapes is simply astonishing, a delight for taking photos... Our guide Malika was adorable, she shared her extensive knowledge with us about the local flora. The meal with the locals will remain one of our best culinary memories of Morocco, it was a delight. A must do if you are passing through Essaouira.

It was a great experience. Really glad to have done it. - Great experience. The knowledge of the guide Naima was great. She was able to answer all our questions and knew about the history and flora and fauna of the location. The lunch was amazing too!!

A perfect day - An interesting walk across a variety of fascinating landscapes. Lunch was a beautifully tender goat tagine and Naima, our guide, was well informed and friendly. A very well organised day out - great value and lots of amazing photos!

Great activity for a day - Wonderful guide, many different areas to explore, and a delicious traditional lunch in a Berber home, I recommend this as a day experience if staying in Essaouira or nearby

Great hike and lunch! - Awesome hike! Quite long (my watch tracked it at 14km), so make sure to bring water. Beautiful scenery and the lunch is excellent.
