Awesome Trip - Don't Hesitate to Book - I am giving these guys 5 stars because the trip, once it finally happened, was absolutely great.
It's a very small business...be patient.
Our experience...
Knowing we wanted to do the kayak canyon tour, I sent them some questions via their "Contact me" page and never heard back. Called when we got to PR a few times and did not hear anything. After a couple days I got a txt...will call you in 3 mins...no call. Finally I got some info via txt and booked.
The meeting spot is over 2 hours from where we were staying (it starts at 8am) and midway through the drive it got cancelled due to flooding. They offered to switch us to the cave tubing or to another day. We opted for another day as traffic was really bad gling through San Juan (from Fajardo) and we were going to be very late anyway...
All went well BUT we got switched to the Cave Tubing as the kayak tour was cancelled again - and we did not know.
Soooo. As cavers ourselves, we were fine with this switch. We met Omar and the small group in the middle of nowhere and followed him to another spot in the middle of nowhere, then hiked to the river and started the real adventure. Omar was absolutely awesome and so was the other guide. So much knowledge, very friendly and fellow cavers too. The whole trip up the river and through the canyons and caves was beautiful. Then you get to sit in a tube and float all the way back down - some of it fairly fast moving...so much fun. It was definately a highlight of our trip.
It took a little bit to get the communication going (some of it may have been due to the islandwide power outage that happened a few days before we got there - and the lack of cell coverage in the area) but once we did, we found these folks pretty easy to deal with. A little patience pays off big time here.

Come to Puerto Rico and not visit the tanamara river and make tubing with this company that has experience al 💯. - The very good and pleasant experience to my children, loved the person who guided us very attentively very polite, explains everything about the path of the river and its formations around it. They had a 100% pleasant experience, I recommend them and what do you expect to live this experience?

Excellent excellent excellent tour - This is an excellent tour, my favourite one of our whole holiday. Absolutely loved it. Omar was our guide and he's superhuman! He's very knowledgeable about the river and surrounding area, he went and found us various creepy crawlies to look and hold and he was great in taking us up the river and helping us climb over rocks etc.
We wore trainers and socks and sports gear and we were not uncomfortable at all. Do not wear water shoes, you will get stones and sand in them and will continue to have to keep taking them off to clean. Wearing trainers was perfect.
Take a small backpack for water and snacks but it will get wet so smaller the better.
It's also fine to take your phone with a waterproof case (we got from amazon). We didn't take ours and I regret that, but we did get photos from Juan and his team afterwards.
Juan and the team are great and extremely helpful.
This was a perfect trip and a must do!!

Super fun river hike/swim/tube adventure! - Definitely worth it! Basically, it's a hike up a canyon through the river, then you take tubes back to where you got in. Very fun! Note that you all park at the trail head, then they give you a helmet that you wear the whole time until you're back to the car. So don't need sunglasses or hats. You spend so little time in the sun really don't need sunscreen either. Everything you don't leave in the car will get wet but they will hold your car keys for you. You hike up and down some steep hills and ride in the back of a pickup fora couple minutes as well to get to the river from the cars. Views in the canyon are amazing. Only thing I would change is that there was a lot of standing around waiting and I could never tell why we were just standing there waiting. The guides were all super nice friendly and knowledgeable about the canyon. Highly recommend!

This is a must-do, besides beach hopping in PR. - This was my 2nd time around doing the tour. The first time several years ago came with a friend, and this time with my husband. Both times had a blast. Love the outdoors (I think if you are able to walk on a treadmill in an inclined for 20 mins you will be OK). Fresh air, Coquis, crickets, birds singing, beautiful greens from the woods-farms, climbing over rocks, crawling in muddy caves, and as a reward floating down the Tanama River. While exploring, José gave an education about the area and Puerto Rico History. This is a must-do, besides beach hopping in PR.

Worth Every Penny and More - This tour was amazing truly Omar was so informative and did so well with our 10 year olds! Do the tour you wont be disappointed. Just be cautious incredibly steep hills sliding in mud/clay but man was it ever worth it! Be prepared to be fully immersed in water wear real shoes! I would recommend x100000. Loved being split up into smaller groups as well allowed us to enjoy the views more. Definitely back snacks and water! Didn't have to worry about bugs learned more about Puerto Rico and the land and it was just beautiful! So happy we chose this excursion over traveling 2 hours to the other rain forest.

We booked this excursion... - We booked this excursion not expecting to experience everything that we did! It was beyond our expectations! You start at the bottom of the river and then hike upstream for about 2 ish hours! Along the way you learn about the river and the history behind it! Cesar showed the group some fossils, live shrimp, and other cool details during the hike! He also stopped and took pictures in front of some very scenic places! You go through caves, swim in the river, and get pretty muddy! Once you reach the last muddy cave you start down stream and float on tubes, which was very relaxing and so scenic! We would recommend bringing sports clothes like track short, tank top, and a bathing suit underneath! VERY IMPORTANT to bring good tennis shoes or hiking shoes! Everything WILL get wet! Overall such an amazing experience and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting!
