Fes - Middle Atlas - Merzouga Desert - Camel trek and overnight in the Berber tent\n\nMiddle Atlas - We’ll start your journey by picking you up from your hotel/riad in Fes. Our first stop will be Ifran, a picturesque mountain village which is also known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. During the trip, you will catch glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. We’ll make a stop at Azrou, which is a Berber village located in the largest cedar forest in Morocco.\n\nErrachidia - After spending some time in the forest, we’ll continue our journey to Midelt, enjoying the stunning views of the Atlas hills and mountains. As we travel through the Tizi N’talghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge, you’ll get to see the High Atlas plateau and the landscape gradually changing to reveal hints of the desert as we approach Errachidia. We’ll stop for lunch here and enjoy the warm hospitality of the Berber people.\n\nMerzouga - After lunch, we’ll continue through the Ziz Valley, stopping at various points for panoramic views, until we reach Erfoud and Rissani. Our final destination will be Merzouga, where you’ll be drinking a refreshing glass of mint tea. You’ll then embark on a camel ride, led by an experienced camel man, to explore the golden sand dunes of Merzouga. In the evening, dinner will be served in front of your tent, where you’ll spend the night.

The adventure kicks off in Fes with a 3-day journey through Morocco’s stunning landscapes. The first stop is Ifrane, a charming village with a distinct European architectural flair. From Ifrane, the journey continues to Azrou, where travelers can explore cedar forests and spot free-roaming monkeys. A brief pause in Midelt provides an opportunity to stretch before proceeding through the picturesque Ziz Valley.

In the afternoon, the expedition reaches Merzouga, where the Sahara’s vast dunes create a breathtaking scene. An evening camel ride through the desert leads to an overnight stay in a comfortable tent nestled in the dunes. Early risers will be rewarded with a sunrise that paints the dunes in golden hues.

Additional highlights include the scenic Todra Gorge, the beautiful Dades Valley, and Ouarzazate. On the final day, the journey continues through a palm-lined valley to visit the ancient Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, rich with history. The adventure concludes with an evening arrival in Marrakech, marking the end of an unforgettable experience.
