Two days in Merzouga with Zaki - We just spent two unforgettable days traveling from Fes to Merzouga to visit the desert with our driver Zaki, my girlfriend, and two other couples.
The experience was amazing: the accommodation was well-maintained, charming, and spotlessly clean, with an excellent dinner and breakfast. The camel ride and the Berber musicians around the fire were must-see moments. The journey itself was a constant succession of breathtaking landscapes, each one different from the last—places like Ifrane, the Ziz Gorges, Midelt, and many others, all of which continue to amaze. The vast views and incredible colors made the trip even more special.
Zaki was outstanding, always available and attentive to everyone's needs, while respecting the schedule perfectly. He speaks several languages and is a very kind and friendly person, an excellent driver, and a passionate guide, sharing fascinating information throughout the trip. Even after we said goodbye, he took the time to send us useful tips for the rest of our vacation.
I highly recommend him!

✨ UNFORGETTABLE EXCURSION ✨ - As a family we chose the two-day desert excursion from Fez.
We were lucky enough to be taken care of by Zakaria En-Nasery, our driver and guide from the beginning to the end of our stay.
He picked us up from our apartment in Fes, and we left for several hours of travel.
First a first step to meet the monkeys at the edge of the cedar forest, then a short break to have breakfast in Ifrane.
Along the way, Zakaria gave us a lot of explanations about the country but also about each of the villages we went to.
Around 5:30 pm, we arrived near the sand dunes of Merzouga, and climbed into the back of a pickup to reach our thatched cottage.
The sunset was beautiful and we left for an hour of camel ride in the golden colored desert.
In the evening, a buffet was ready for everyone. We had dinner with other tourists in a big tent.
Also, a large fire was organized with traditional songs and dances.
The night was very cool because we had no heating but especially no hot water ... it was the only small downside although we booked a luxurious tent.
The next morning, we woke up around 8am to watch the sunrise, and to have breakfast.
All the team members on site were very welcoming.
We met our guide and made a first stop in the wonderful town of Rissani and visited the souk with a local. Ideal place to bring back spices.
Then we took the road again during the day with several stops to return to Fes.
A huge thank you to Zakaria for making our family stay unforgettable for our first time in Morocco.
Thank you for his kindness, patience, commitment and kindness. 🙏🏼

Memorable driver and excursion, perfectible camp experience. - Our family was delighted with this two-day tour through Morocco, and especially so well accompanied: our driver and guide Zakaria was professional, respectful and welcoming. He is now part of our family of hearts.
The road is long from Fez (full day), but with such a good guide it is an enchantment. For the first time in Morocco, it was a beautiful discovery in a short stay.
Good vehicle (for family of 5), van Mercedes type.
Arrived in the desert, we are left in small groups to take a camel ride, really nice. It could be a little longer, so much a wonderful memory.
For Zakaria and this experience, I put 5 stars.
At the camp, the meal is good but lacks a few simple things that would make it unforgettable (pastries?). Very welcome from the tuaregs who supervise us.
It was unpleasant to be asked to buy souvenirs by them nonetheless before entering the camp.
Very (very) cool night in December, and the tent lacks heating but especially hot water! The icy shower when it is 5 degrees outside will be impossible for many people.
I recommend for the wonderful trip it represents and for the fabulous driver we had. I warn that the camp will not be up to it if you expect a real “luxury”. Not a tourist catcher, but perfectible.

Great experience. Unforgettable guide 😁❤️ - 2 great days , the experience was superb and especially thanks to our driver Zakaria en-nasery: someone attentive , kind, kind , patient and available. (Without making tons , I could pass the whole opinion citing his qualities , but in short my family could not have hoped for a better guide / driver we will not forget. As for the ride and experience , the scenery is beautiful, the stops relevant and the camel ride in the desert was sublime. (Sunset and sunrise over the two days was great) only small point to correct , very weak WI-FI , heating and hot water is not in all tents , or at least not in ours. But overall it was superb. Thanks again. 🐪🏜️🌵🏝️

Great experience - I went to Fez with my family with my children and son-in-law to celebrate this new year 2025. We took the opportunity to travel for a week to discover Morocco. We met Zakaria en-Nasery our driver and tour guide native of this city. He took care of us all the time of our trip from Fez to Marzouga while visiting occasionally cities like Ifran, Midelt, Rissani etc... Zakaria is was always punctual and available during the various visits that were offered. He is extremely respectful, very serious, very kind and kind. He also took care of our outings and knew how to advise us some restaurants. In all sincerity, if you want to visit Morocco and fully enjoy your stay with confidence, do not hesitate to trust and contact Zakaria en-Nasery
Another big thank you to you, Zakaria.
Karim.
