Constructed entirely by local labor under British supervision, the project overcame significant logistical hurdles, including difficult terrain and material transport. Completed in 1919, the bridge has remained resilient, showcasing innovative engineering solutions such as concrete cornice blocks for arch support and locally produced sand-cement blocks for facing.
- Ravana Ella Falls - This stunning waterfall is located in Ella. Measuring approximately 25 meters (82 feet) in height, it cascades from an oval-shaped concave rock outcrop. Brilliant 🤩 - If you visiting Sri Lanka definitely recommend see Lanka tours booked several trips with them all private tours with fantastic guides (Rocky, Ryan, wagee and her brother can’t remember his name 😊trips all personalised to what we wanted to see Nipun arranged everything fantastic tours

Awesome guide, beautiful Ella - We were in Ella for a few days and keen to do some sightseeing but didn’t want to rent a Tuk Tuk. We found this waterfall tour with Randika on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. The highlight for us was the cave exploring with a swim at the bottom of the cave!! Randika made sure we were the first ones there so we had it all to ourselves. He did not rush us , his driving was very safe. We finished the day with an epic lunch at his friends restaurant which was perfect. I would recommend this tour for anyone wanting a locals tour of the Ella area.

Excellent tour - Excellent tour, picked up from the hotel on time, showed all the interesting places. You can swim in the waterfalls and stand right under the waterfall.

Better than Pick Me - Perfect, took a car from Ella to Tangalle, Randika was ready right when we needed him and it was a smooth and comfortable ride. Much better than Pick Me. Support the drivers, talk to them on the street instead of using an app!
