Nine Arches Bridge - The Nine Arch Bridge in Ella is part of the Demodara loop, stretching 91 meters and standing 24 meters high. Its stunning nine arches create a picturesque scene, especially as it is surrounded by dense jungle and farmland. Behind the railway, a thriving forest grows, and below, tea leaves are cultivated.
Udawalawa National Park Safari - Accompanying the elephant herds, the park’s main attractions include Water Buffalo, Wild Boar, Spotted Deer, Sambur Deer, Jackal, Black-naped Hare, mongooses, bandicoots, foxes, the endemic Toque Macaque, and Gray Langurs. Nuwara Eliya To Kandy
Damro Labookellie Tea Centre and Tea Garden - On the way to the scenic city of Nuwara Eliya, at an elevation of 5,000 feet, lies the renowned Labookellie Estate Tea Factory, famous for producing some of Ceylon’s finest teas. Established nearly 150 years ago, it is one of the island’s oldest tea plantations.
Visitors can observe the tea manufacturing process and then take a short stroll to the “DAMRO LABOOKELLIE TEA LOUNGE,” which offers breathtaking views of tea gardens in various shades of green carpeting the surrounding hills and valleys. Observant visitors might also spot tea pluckers skillfully harvesting the tender two leaves and a bud.
Ramboda Waterfall - Ramboda Falls stands 109 meters (358 feet) high, making it the 11th highest waterfall in Sri Lanka and the 729th highest in the world. Located in the Pussellawa area on the A5 highway at Ramboda Pass, it is formed by Panna Oya, a tributary of Kothmale Oya. The falls are situated at an altitude of 945 meters (3,100 feet) above sea level.
Kandy Lake Club - Cultural Dance Show - The Kandy Lake Club Cultural Dance Show is an exhilarating showcase of Sri Lankan arts, dance, and cultural heritage, a must-see for visitors to the historic city of Kandy. Established in 1982, it was the first cultural dance show of its kind in Sri Lanka, bringing together all Sri Lankan dance styles on one platform. It has become a major tourist attraction for those interested in the country’s rich cultural heritage, performing continuously for the past 35 years.

Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - The Temple of the Sacred Tooth, with its golden roof, houses Sri Lanka’s most significant Buddhist relic – a tooth of the Buddha. During puja (offerings or prayers), the heavily guarded room containing the tooth is open to devotees and tourists. However, the tooth itself is not visible, as it is kept in a gold casket shaped like a dagoba (stupa), which contains a series of six dagoba caskets of decreasing size.

Kandy To Sigiriya
Dambulla Cave Temple - The magnificent Royal Rock Temple complex is located about 160 meters above the road in southern Dambulla. It comprises five separate caves containing approximately 150 stunning Buddha statues and paintings, representing some of Sri Lanka’s most significant and evocative religious art. Buddha images were first created here over 2000 years ago, with subsequent kings adding to and enhancing the cave art over the centuries.

Sigiriya The Ancient Rock Fortress - Lion Rock in Sigiriya is a must-visit landmark on any Sri Lankan itinerary. This natural wonder is a massive (200-meter) square-shaped rock that appears as if it was placed there. Lion Rock is one of the eight UNESCO World Heritage sites and is a must-see in Sri Lanka.

Sigiriya to Colombo or Back to Mirissa
Pidurangala Rock - While Sigiriya Rock is steeped in history and features dramatic elements like the lion’s paw and the mirror wall, Pidurangala Rock offers a more natural experience, despite also housing a temple.
Pidurangala Rock is adjacent to Sigiriya Rock and provides the best vantage point for viewing Sigiriya Rock, as it is only slightly lower. Pidurangala is a popular spot for sunrise, offering 360-degree views of the valleys and Sigiriya Rock.
There is no need to choose between the two. Many travelers enjoy the sunrise at Pidurangala and then head to Sigiriya Rock for sunset.
