The most memorable 3 days of our trip in Greece! - Oh my God—where do I start? What an excellent and truly professional experience we had for three days with our driver, Aggelos! From the moment he met us, he went above and beyond. He braved the closed streets of Athens on Independence Day—while everything was shut down and it was raining—just to help us get our luggage to his vehicle. He was incredibly cordial and friendly, and within just a few minutes we really got to know who he was, and he got to know who we were. He made a point to learn what experiences were most important to us during our trip. He spent a lot of time discussing Greek mythology with my daughter, which is her biggest interest. During our long drives, he shared fascinating stories and explained the history of both ancient and modern Greece. We were never short on food recommendations during our trip. He always knew the best local spots and exactly what to order. Before meeting with tour guides or visiting museums, he gave us background and context that helped us appreciate everything even more. He was always early and willing to help with anything we needed. Along the way, we learned about Thermopylae and were able to visit the site. We visited two of the six Greek monasteries of Meteora, traveled through snowy mountains to stay in Delphi and explore the archaeological site, and continued on to Olympia to experience the origins of the Olympic Games. Some of the highlights included private visits to a generational honey farm and an olive mill—perfect places to pick up special souvenirs. Finally, we traveled over the Corinth Canal and enjoyed delicious local kebabs. We learned so much about the country, its history, and its people. Most of all, we experienced truly exceptional hospitality. Aggelos was by far our favorite driver and the most memorable part of our trip.

Relaxed and Educational Too - We had a lovely three days exploring Olympia, Delphi, and Meteora with our excellent driver, Panos. More than a driver, he was also an informal guide sharing his extensive knowledge of geography, history, life is modern Greece, and, most important, the best restaurants. We chose the professional guide option for this tour and it was worth every penny. Elena, Georgia and Dominique made the historical sites at Olympia, Delphi, and Meteora come to life. These guides were incredibly professional and passionate about their subject matter. This was our first private tour and it may be hard to ever do a group tour again. There’s no trudging to the bus parking area, waiting for stragglers, or hoping for a bathroom break, our driver, Panos, was always concerned with our comfort and convenience. What a way to travel!

Great Tour! Mother/Daughter Spring Break - Aggelos is the best! This was our first visit to Greece, and he made us feel so welcome. We learned a lot during our time with him, and we will definitely make sure to request him when we return. The tour itself was great, and all of the guides were informative, kind, and passionate about their work.

3 day Meteora, Delphi and Ancient Olympia tour - This was an absolutely fantastic tour, highly recommend. Our driver, George, was wonderful and a major factor as to why the trip was so great. He was always accommodating, had great recommendations as to where to go and what to do, going above and beyond multiple times, and just a pleasure to be around. All the tour guides were friendly and very knowledgeable, the hotel stays were good, and the sites that we visited were magnificent.

Wonderful three day tour! - Ioannis was our incredible tour guide for three delightful days of exploring Olympia, Delphi and Meteora. He was attentive and checked in often to determine what we wanted to do, what food we wanted to eat, and how we were feeling. He knows a great deal about the history of the places we visited and about the landscape of the area. When we stopped at restaurants, he knew the owners and we were always treated well. There were four of us, all in our early 60s. When we talk about our experience, we are all happy that we visited these three sites. They were each fascinating, and yet quite different. The highlights of this excursion were being among the ruins of the ancient Olympic Games in Olympia, visiting a local farm where we learned about making honey, enjoying the incredible views of the mountains while exploring the Temple of Apollo in Delphi, and experiencing the surreal landscape of Meteora and exploring a couple of the monasteries. We had a wonderful trip to Greece! Our three day tour with Ioannis was certainly a highlight! We would highly recommend this tour!! Haydee, Tim, Avis and Kathy

IIncredible Greek Tour with Yiannis Including Sunrise & Sunset Photoshoots In Meteora! Meteora Was Magical! - I went with three of my friends on this tour to Olympia, Delphi, & Meteora with Yiannis (John) from Athens. Yiannis was so knowledgeable about the places. He was interesting & easy to talk to. The crowning jewel was visiting Meteora and its monasteries in the sky! Nothing else on earth looks like it! It was magical! Yiannis went out of his way to arrange a sunset & sunrise photoshoot for my photography-loving sister-in-law in Meteora! He took us to a great seaside cafe on the Aegean Sea on the way back to Athens! The trip was a blast! I would highly recommend Yiannis! His tour was a 10/10! Avis

Saw all the sites true to itinerary - Worthwhile having a driver that knows the country. Certainly a time-saver. This itinerary covered places we (as a group) wanted to see: Corinth Canal, Olympia archaeological site, Delphi archeological site, Meteora monasteries. Online itinerary was accurate. Van had a mechanical issue that made significant noise and vibration in the passenger compartment (felt like bad wheel bearings or broken / bad wheel or bad tire). Very difficult to hear what the driver said for passengers in the third row. I wore ear plugs entire time in the van. Made the entire three-day trip relatively uncomfortable. Itinerary was very uneven. 12 hours of driving and touring on the first day. Might have been a better choice to spend the night in Nafpaktos versus Delphi (90 minutes drive). There were many cafes along the water in Nafpaktos. Didn't leave the Delphi hotel on day 2 until 9:30 anyway, although the museum and archeological site open at 8:30, so could have left Nafpaktos 8:30 or so and made the 90 minute drive morning of day two. Hotel in Delphi had paint peeling in the bathroom, broken shower head mount. No place to open luggage (we just left it on the floor). Beautiful patio for breakfast (and for dinner I think, but we did not eat dinner at the hotel). Room was clean. A/C worked well. Internet connection was good. We chose not to walk in Arachova. We were shopped out. Asked for a coffee/bathroom stop. The driver passed several convenience stores and shops for about 45 minutes. Stopped at a rest area along the toll highway at a toilet with no concessions or potable water. Restroom was clean. Driver did not use the facilities, then stopped at the next rest area. Driver chose to stop for fuel 10 minutes after picking us up from Olympia archeological site. Not clear why driver did not fuel up during the two hours we were touring Olympia archeological site. Not clear why we didn't stop at the honey farm. Just that it was closed. Guest house in Kalambaka was excellent. Overall, not a bad experience, just average. With a little planning we would have had equally enjoyed the three days with a rental car and a decent itinerary (I don't mind driving hours at a time), and probably saved $500 - $800.
