- Citadel of Salah El-Din - Enjoy a private transfer from your hotel in Cairo or Giza to explore beyond the pyramids and pharaohs. Discover the Citadel of Salah El-Din, Sultan Hassan, and the Khan el-Khalili Bazaars. This exclusive tour offers a deeper understanding of Egypt’s rich history. The Alabaster Mosque at the Citadel of Salah El-Din, perched on a limestone hill overlooking Cairo, is the city’s most significant mosque. It remains a place of worship for Cairo’s Muslims and welcomes visitors of all faiths. The mosque’s lower section is adorned with alabaster, while the upper part is made from limestone cladding taken from the Pyramids of Giza. Inside, your guide will explain the basic tenets of Islam, including translations of common prayers.
- Mosque and Madrasa of Sultan Hassan - Proceed to the Mosque and Madrasa (school) of Sultan Hassan. Constructed between 1356 and 1363, it is regarded as one of the finest examples of Mamluk architecture in Cairo. The mosque is also one of the largest in the Islamic world, measuring approximately 492 feet (150 meters) in length and 118 feet (36 meters) in height. The tallest minaret reaches 223 feet (68 meters). This private tour allows you to decide how much time to spend at each site.
- Khan Al Khalili - Explore the spice market, where you can purchase fresh spices of any kind. The perfume market is filled with a variety of essential oil scents. Further into the market, you’ll find gold vendors and antique shops with fascinating items. There are fabric shops, carpet vendors, and sellers of nearly anything you might want. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, feel free to ask a vendor, as they likely know where to locate it.

Half day visits in Islamic Cairo - This was a very enjoyable trip to some of the oldest and most beautiful Mosques in Cairo and possiblythe world. Ehab the guide was excellent. Friendly welcoming and knowledgeable. I was a solo traveller and was giving the VIP treatment. He was very patient and allowed me to spend alot of time taking photos and also took some on his phone when my camera phone was not playing up. I definitely recommend you go on this trip to see the history behind these beautiful buildings

Visiting Islamic & Coptic Cairo - Islam was an excellent driver. Ehab was gracious and knowledgeable. He was very informative about anything we asked. He catered to our needs and made sure we could see & do everything we wanted. We learned so much about the mosques & Coptic churches. Both were fun to hang out with. Highly recommend!

Great half day tour - Great tour with a knowledgeable guide Bisho. Great option as there are not a lot tours out there that offer start time at 1 pm., which is what I was looking for since I arrived early in the morning that day. I learned a lot and had a great time. Highly recommended!

Great half day tour - Very good compact 4 hr tour which gives you great overview of Islamic Cairo. There aren’t too many tours out there which allow the flexibility to start at 1 pm. After arriving from a long flight from the US that’s exactly what I was looking for. My tour guide Bisho was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Driver was very nice as well. I learned a lot and felt safe 100% of the time during this tour

Recommendable Tour - We had a great time with our tour guide Ehab. He was very friendly and took care of us. While we were driving, he gave us a lot of information about Cairo and he was well informed about the mosques which we have been to. Also our driver Moaz was very friendly and we felt comfortable.

An Awesome Day - My guide was Ahmed, a very soft-spoken gentleman who was very knowledgeable about the mosques.
I was awestruck by the architecture! Ahmed did a great job of explaining the Mamluk and Ottoman styles. He even informed me that the last Shah of Iran was buried near by and took me to see the gravesite.
I’d highly recommend Ahmed. What’s more, he’s a GREAT photographer.
