Must see- Fitz-Roy Mountain Range - We had an awesome experience on the full day visit to El Chalten from El Calafate. Sandra was an excellent guide, and we are so grateful we were able to see the spectacular Fitz-Roy Mountain Range and visit the welcoming town of El Chalten. Highly recommend!

Light walk, no high difficulty - Communication with the company was quick and practical. They were punctual to pick us up at the hotel. The guide is very fun and attentive. The means of transportation is very beautiful, stylish and comfortable. The walk really is quite light, it was not of high difficulty. The lunch was very good and complete, delicious food and drink as well. I just thought we were gonna get closer to Mount Fitz Roy...

Nice day - Our day to El Chalten was really nice and that is mainly attributable to our guide Walter, which we really appreciated! He told is a few stories about the territories, as well as information about El Calafate, El Chalten and Argentina. He even had a few maps to show us which was helpful to understand the information hé was giving. Walter was great with the logistics of us all and was funny! We reserved the option with two hikes: Mirador of the condors and a waterfall in the afternoon. The first hike was a bit abrupt but we took a few breaks and the pace was slow. The duration of the first hike was 1h15 in total so it is doable and Walter did it with us. We had a few options for lunch: it was very good and generous. The second hike, in the afternoon, was really short but it was crowded (it was difficult to take pictures without a stranger in it so we had to step in the water). Before coming back, we had some free time to walk around the small village of El Chalten and we had the best gelato at Domo Blanco!

Book something else instead - Do not book this tour—one hour of walking total. Several hours to spend in a town with nothing to do. Guide left the tour before all passengers were dropped off. 2 hours for a mediocre lunch.

Tourimilk machine - The 1-hour hike costs 45,000 extra because it is in the national park. Instead, lunch is there, which "prevents" you from being able to divide your day a little more independently.
The organizations know how to milk the tourists.
Chalten is a small unspectacular village. The hikes are beautiful - but can also be done yourself.
