Optional: If you choose the ‘including Boat Safari’ option, you’ll get a closer view of this natural wonder from the water! On this tour, you’ll also learn about the general glaciology of the region, as well as the formation of an ice bridge, a particular phenomenon that happens every few years in the Perito Moreno Glacier.
- Important: Passport name, number, nationality and date of birth are required at time of booking for all participants.
- Important: Passport digital copy from all passengers are required to confirm Boat Ride
- Children: Travelers MUST provide a copy/attachment of children passport if they are under 15 years old. All children must occupy a seat.
- Infant seats: Available for children from 3 up to 5 years old when requested in advance, subject to availability.
- Please bring: Warm clothing, waterproof jacket, gloves, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, comfortable footwear and clothing. You can bring refreshments.
- Inside the National Park there is a cafeteria where you can buy snacks or have lunch. Also, you can take your own box lunch.
- You will be arriving back to El Calafate at approximately 5pm / 5:30pm.

Great - This was an awesome tour. Communications from the tour operator were outstanding. They provided detailed information about what we can expect weeks before our arrival. They confirmed our pick-up time and location the day before our tour.
Nadia, our guide, made this tour memorable. She is enthusiastic, fun, knowledgeable, and energetic. She shared interesting information about the geography and history of the area. The site itself is magnificent. Nadia added the extra touch. She is well organized. We were on schedule for all activities. We did not feel rushed. The boat safari is worth taking. A close look at Perito Moreno glacier is simply amazing.

Great views. - This excursion was excellent. The glacier was spectacular. The national park was well worth the price. Pablo explained everything in both English and Spanish. Plenty of time was provided to walk around, because it was quite chilly outside. Thanks Pablo and the Viator staff.

Amazing! Ask for Nati - Nati our tour guide was absolutely amazing. The switch between English and Spanish didn’t feel painful. On most hikes guides will s peak forever in Spanish and then say 2 sentences in English but Nati made the entire experience seamless and really brought the group together. The glacier is amazing!! Definitely book this if you can.

Great - Amazing. We spent 2 weeks in Argentina and this was the highlight.
The tour guide was excellent - knew a lot of information about the geography and history of the region.

A Great Way to See the Glaciers! - This tour was the perfect way to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. The pace of the tour allowed ample free time to see the park and the information that was presented was the right amount and relevant. Analia , our guide was excellent, and did a great job keeping the tour on track and positive as the weather presented challenges until about 1pm. Amazingly, it rained, snowed, was cold, comfortable,sunny, overcast, very windy, and very nice. That is a lot of weather in one morning.Being able to see the park from a vehicle during the tough weather was really a nice benefit.The boat option was worth it for us and we captured a great video of ice breaking off the glacier. However the boat is not a real smooth operation.The park is spectacular. While the glaciers are the highlight, the entire park is beautiful. This was the perfect tour for us and highly recommend it. Thanks again to Analia for doing a great job.

A great way to visit a miraculous park. - This tour was exactly what we wanted. Analia, our guide , was excellent. She provided pertinent information and directed our activities wisely through several weather changes. It rained, snowed, was cold, comfortable, overcast, and beautiful all in a few hours. I recommend this tour.

Amazing. - You won't regret making this trip. Our Guide, Nati, and the driver were amazing. Nati gave us a lot of interesting information and history during the excursion. The views and scenery were unforgettable. The boat is worth it. Recommended. 10/10

This trip did not start... - This trip did not start very well as I was picked up super late. I even asked the reception of my hotel to contact the tour agency as I was worried I wouldn't be picked up. It was a very scenic drive however and the boat ride was once in a lifetime experience. Nothing beats seeing the glacier close to you. I would've wished more time given to wander around the park - so you can see the glaciers in different angles. The guide was super helpful as well and provided a lot of information about El Calafate and the park on our way.
