Best guide I’ve ever had in Egypt - I’ve been to Egypt 12 times. Omar was the best guide I’ve ever had. He was accommodating and pleasant to work with. The sunset felucca ride was excellent, as was the boat and driver. Top notch in every way.

Good trip, warm service - Excellent itinerary, guided tour on time, also enthusiastic to answer our questions, the explanation along the way is also detailed, the private itinerary boat only us two, so good to take photos! Just the return will take to the perfume shop to shop, can buy and can not buy, depends on yourself, but for this price, it is a high-price activity.

A great way to appreciate the beauty of Niles at Aswan - We met our guide Omar Abdulsattar next to our cruise and set sail to enjoy beautiful views and busy activities on Niles at the center of Aswan area. Omar was a very chill person. Our family had a great time.

A surprise history and culture tour; learn from a local - Let me paint you the picture I had in mind: a peaceful sunset felucca ride, just me and my husband, wrapped in that golden hour glow, soft ripples on the Nile, maybe a welcome drink in hand, and silence — the good kind. You know, honeymoon stuff. Now let me tell you what actually happened. Our guide was lovely — incredibly friendly, super responsive, and genuinely a joy to talk to. He came ready with a full syllabus on Nubian culture, wedding customs, and the sociocultural breakdown between Nubians and Aswanians. So if you came for a history lesson, you’re in luck. Also, if you love supporting locals and writing reviews under watch, to talk about how amazing this is, you are also in the right place. As for the boat ride? Well, the wind had other plans. Apparently, the whole “sailing” part is more of a suggestion than a guarantee. With no breeze in sight, we drifted, slowly. Minutes later, a motorboat latched onto us and dragged us around like a lost floaty at a public pool except with a gas-perfume constantly delighting your nose - ahh the lovely smell of gas stations. The route? A small loop around the Nile you probably already saw five times walking to breakfast if you’re staying at the Old Cataract. Bonus feature: local kids may paddle up to your boat to sing songs — for a tip, of course. Charming, yes. Rejection? Not an option. In the end, it was calm. It was informative. It was absolutely different than the romantic, relaxing ride we thought we were signing up for. So you know your options now :) for an informative drift along the Nile with complete strangers, this is your calling. FYI: I overheard some other tourist asking the boat captains directly and they were offered 500egp for two people for one hour. Now, I don’t know if they actually took the ride, but something worth asking?
