Great Tour! - My wife and I ended up with a private tour with Alain as our guide. Even though the tour accomodates eight people, we were impressed that the tour went ahead even with only two people. Alain went out of his way to make the tour as interesting and informative as possible, even stopping at an unscheduled spot memorializing American troops in World War II. He clearly knew the history and details for everything we saw and we highly recommend this tour.

This was exactly what we... - This was exactly what we were looking for in a day trip from Colmar. Our guide, Thierry was knowledgeable, kind and had a great sense of humor. I hesitate to do long experiences for fear of “being stuck” but this was fabulous!

Alsace is the best! - We travelled to Alsace again this year. We did not visit Strasbourg this time but tended to stay more in the country between Obernai where we stayed and Mulhouse. We flew into Basel/Mulhouse instead of Frankfurt, which is over a 4 hour drive, where Mulhouse is just over an hour. Which is a big difference when you're tired from flying over night. We love driving through the wine route in Alsace, with stops in Colmar. Colmar is great, I think they call it petite venice as they have canal rides through the town. My favorite spot is a resturant on the side the canal by the main bridge where you can watch the canal boats. Colmar is fantastic for walking around and dining outside. This year we visited the point where France, Germany and Switzerland come together. They have a monument, a bit anti-climatic but worth seeing in my view. Had lunch and picked up some nice swiss chocolate in Basel at the same time. We drove through Kaysersberg and what a beautiful town that would be to visit on our next tour and probably why Anthony Bourdain stayed there. Also visited the castle at Haut Koenigsbourg which is a must see in this area. Its an easy walk through but don't attempt it on a weekend or holiday, especially during a bike race! I've stayed in Obernai which is a very old town which has been around since like 7th century. I keep finding new places there everytime I go. Great resturants, although my favorites are Me'me and Winstub La Dime. We stayed in La Cloche this time but have stayed in Le Colombier in past. The Colombier has a huge breakfast buffet where La Cloche has the usual Alsatian breakfast fare and for the price, its worth it. I also must say that the staff at La Cloche is way more personable and friendly!

Best tour guide you’ll find - I went with my partner and I had the most amazing tour of my life in all of Europe and highly recommend it. The guide is knowledgeable and answers questions about everything and anything. The guide has been in this industry for more than 20 years so he knows what he is doing.

Perfect way to experience the charming villages around Colmar - Excellent way to visit the small villages around Colmar with a knowledgeable guide. Myriam was lovely, told us a lot about the places we visited, and answered all of our questions. The small group option is great for a more intimate tour and the trip is great value for the money - it comes with a wine tasting included! 10/10

Alsace’s Heritage and Culture Journey - We really enjoyed this tour. Jerome the guide/driver was very personable and had a great knowledge of the castle, towns, history, agriculture and wines of the region which made this a memorable trip. We learnt a great deal about the Alsace region, its heritage and culture. There were lots of highlights: the castle, the villages, the vineyards, the wine tasting. A full but most enjoyable day. We recommend this tour.

Tour Alsace like a VIP - The tour was everything we hoped for-informative, well paced, and very enjoyable. Our tour guide Thierry was excellent and made the experience more like having a friend show you the local sights from an insider perspective. We felt like VIPs all day. Thanks for a great experience.
