Fantastic tour! - Really fun and spooky! Very informative about the history of south bridge and the vaults and their discovery. Our guide James was fantastic, brought exactly the kind of humourous (and sometimes slightly unsettling) vibes needed to make the most of the experience.

Good but looking for more - It is a good tour and a good tour guide, Sophy. However, the experience is a little bit underwhelming. You go into one cavern, see a few rooms, hear some stories there, and that's it. You don't really get any sense that there's a whole network underneath Edinburgh. I suppose, because there isn't a network, it's more like 100+ individual caverns, of which we saw one. Perhaps if you've seen one, you've seen them all. That being said, it was a very impressive cavern.

Not Enough History, Little Gimmicky - While the bones of this tour were interesting including the torture room and the vaults themselves, this tour lacked specific history and was a little gimmicky. It added touches of paranormal activity but I really wanted a more in-depth historical stories and facts. Seemed more of a tourist trap than historic site.
