The descent down the hillside provides an opportunity to observe the local herd of Highland Cows grazing in their natural mountain setting. These cows reside on the hill year-round and serve as conservation grazers, aiding in the restoration of the natural ecology.

The journey concludes at Swanston Farm (lunch reservations available), where additional cows can be seen in a field.
