Great experience in the Highlands! - We had a great time exploring Scotland together with our excellent guide Steve and our group! With lots of stops we got to experience the beauty of the Highlands. Cosy and sometimes a bit quirky accommodation, best B&B was definitely in Kirkwall. Steve took great care of us and entertained us with his stories and music. I would highly recommend booking this trip if you want to explore the Highlands!

An Awesome Tour with Highland Explorer! - Our 8 day tour through the highlands of Scotland, the North Coast 500 and to Orkney and Skye islands was incredible! Our guide Steve was fabulous. He is a great storyteller and is very passionate and knowledgeable about the history of Scotland. Steve is a very safe and cool headed driver (necessary on those crazy little roads on the NC 500), and his Scottish playlist entertained us all during our time on the bus. We were sixteen in total and everyone was interested and interesting! I can't say enough about the beauty of Scotland The Unesco neolithic archaeology on Orkney was unbelievable. We saw castles, abbeys, spectacular little villages, National parks, beautiful sandy beachs, caves and took in some geology lessons along the way. Knockan Crag, with it's stunning views, is a Unesco Geopark! There was also no shortage of sheep & lambs and we did manage to find a few Highland cows! Scottish skies and landscapes are also amazing; big, open, moody and dramatic! If you are looking to see the best of Scotland, I would highly recommend Highland Explorer and ask for Steve to be your guide!
