Always dreaming of opening her own restaurant, Luisa found the supper club trend to be a more affordable option and started ‘Scotland Meets Sardinia’ in her home two years ago.

  • Carpaccio di Salmone - 36 hours marinade Salmon served with fennel, Sardinian Bottarga ( cured fish roe ) and Sardinian saffron dressing
  • Rana Pescatrice All’Algherese - Typical dishes from Alghero (Sardinia) with Monkfish, onion and cherry tomatoes
  • Scampi Lardellati - Langoustine wrapped in pancetta, and accompanied by a potato soufflé
  • Calamari e Piselli - Fresh squid sautéed with green peas, onion mint and chili
  • Polpo alla Diavola - Slow cooked octopus sautéed in spicy tomato sauce
  • Scabecciu - Sardines fried in semola with tomatoes and sweet onions in a vinegar sauce
  • Gnocchetti al Granchio - Sardinian pasta sautéed with crab and courgettes served in papillote

GREAT COMPANY WITH 2 RUSSIAN LADIES AND A DOCTOR FROM PANAMA - ITS TRUE! - Amazing food. Thank you Luisa for all your hard work. There was another small group who were also dining in Luisa's home, 2 Russian ladies and a doctor from Panama contributed to a fantastic and surreal evening. We will definitely return when we are next in Leith.

Highlight of our Scotland holiday!! <3 - A dinner at Luisa's table was definitely the highlight of our Scotland trip!! Her place was so cute and cozy, and ambience is perfect. The food I could say blew the wind out of my chest. That slow cooked octopus was super unexpected, that dish completely hammered me. I am so ecstatic to share to everyone I know that they should try having a dinner at Luisa's table, because the experience will not disappoint at all. So so good, you could taste the effort that's being put into preparing the food. Hats off to Luisa and her husband for serving us dinner that night. <3
