The Highlands Were Stunning, but our Guide Was the Highlight - I just finished a 5-day Highlands bus tour and it was one of the most unique experiences I've ever had. The destinations were beautiful, and the BnBs we stayed in were all lovely, but what really made it unforgettable was our driver/guide, Ben. He was patient, funny, and always went the extra mile. He adapted to the group, added little surprises and extra stops, and made sure we got the most out of the trip. He made everyone feel safe and comfortable, and he has such a clear, engaging way of telling stories that you can’t help but want to listen. You can tell he genuinely cares and his passion for Scotland and history shines through at every occasion. Always on time, open to feedback, and super flexible if plans needed to change last minute, Ben truly made the whole experience special.

Exceptional Experience! - We took the 5-day Highland Experience's Scottish Choice tour from Edinburgh. We could not have asked for a better guide or a better group to share our highland experience with. Everything about this 5 day trip was exceptional. Kenny K is an amazing guide - knowledgeable, funny and just a great guy to be around. The accommodations booked by Highland Experience Tours were top notch. The sites were amazing and Kenny's ability to maneuver around all of the other tours for best viewing or to take us to out of the way places really made for the best possible experience. This tour was priced very reasonably especially considering the number of sites visited. I can not recommend Highland Experience Tours enough and if you're lucky enough to get Kenny K as your guide you are in for an unforgettable experience!

The Magical Highlands - The Scottish Highlands , a land of untamed beauty, where rugged mountains meet misty lochs and purple heather covered moors , evoke a sense of awe and wonder. Our 5 day tour under Hugh’s guidance transformed the magical landscape into a living, breathing storybook filled with enchanting tales . It was indeed an experience of lifetime!

Bonnie, bonnie Scotland covered by heather - My 5yo daughter and I had the most amazing trip to the Scottish highlands and the Isle of Skye. Our tour guide Hugh was funny, knowledgeable and very, very kind. He showed us the most beautiful places and told us old legends and tales. Scotland feels like home, it always welcomes you into its embrace and gives you a feeling that you can finally breathe. The glens, the lochs — we’ve seen so many and Hugh made sure we stopped in all the right places in the right time, avoiding big crowds. I would go with the Highlands Experience over and over again, as I appreciate a lot how they operate and how they provide the cosiest accommodations. Thank you Hugh and the team for this amazing journey!

Amazing Scottish Scenery and Fascinating History - We had a fantastic time on this tour, not only due to the spectacular scenery, but also because of our amazing Tour Guide, Robb. His knowledge of the various locations along with his extensive (and often very funny) grasp of Scottish history made this one of our favorite tours of all time.

The trip of a lifetime! - What does one generally hope to get out of a multi-day tour in another country? The obvious bare minimum things are safety, reliability and the feeling that you got to see a lot… Then you hope that you’ll have a tour guide who will be able to give you some accurate and interesting information about the places you’re visiting. We didn’t get that… We got infinitely more. My mother and I took a one day private tour with Highland Experience last summer (July 2024) and it was great! But… we’d wished we’d done more. We had an amazing guide, a really nice tour and we felt very taken care of. I guess I should mention that one main reason we did a private tour is that my mother is older and has mobility issues and we thought it would be a little easier to do a private tour and not have a bus full of people waiting for us if we were moving slow. Thankfully, that wasn’t an issue… even on this longer tour on a bus. Because of our experience last summer, I felt I could trust the company. That's why when we decided to come back to Scotland this summer with my sister along as well… and really do it right this time... the first thing I did was look in to the multi-day tours that Highland Experience offers. We chose the 5-day Scottish Choice tour and we saw so much more than I’d even realized while reading about the tour and it quickly became apparent what a special trip this was going to be. It was the trip of a lifetime. Leading the charge was our tour guide/driver, Jamie. It is by no means an exaggeration to say that Jamie was the heart and soul of this trip. He managed to turn a bus full of strangers in to friends and went above and beyond at every turn…. Literally. ;-) The landscape of Scotland, as you travel north from Edinburgh is incredibly beautiful.. mountains blanketed in purple heather and dotted with grazing sheep... and would have been enough to hold my attention on the rides from stop to stop, but what Jamie added was invaluable. Jamie took the time and effort to carefully put everything we were seeing into context and did it in creative and engaging ways. Jamie didn’t just rattle off historical facts (though he definitely included those as well..haha)... he used (very carefully chosen, contextually significant) music, storytelling, humor and even poetry to turn time on the bus in to a more complete experience than I previously thought possible. And if that wasn’t enough, Jamie also really looked after us all, suggesting places to eat and explore and made sure we got to our rooms safe and sound each evening. He also didn’t seem to mind loading and unloading my mother’s wheelchair multiple times a day... I cannot recommend this tour highly enough or sufficiently express my gratitude to Jamie and to Highland Experience for a trip that broke our hearts to have to return home from.

Best highland experience - It couldn’t be better experience. The bus was clean and comfortable. Everything was perfect specially with our tour guide Stefan. He was so welcoming and friendly. He provided us with so much information and knowledge of the area and did not hesitate to answer all our questions.

The tour was interesting... - The tour was interesting to discover several aspects of Scotland. Contrary to the description, the cruise on Loch Ness is not included (35 £ per person). Good organization and good value for money. Thanks
