The Guide Makes The Tour - Three hours sounded like a big commitment, but Douglas was so engaging, entertaining and knowledgeable, I didn’t want it to end.

Plenty of History of the Royal Mile - This tour is actually conducted by Alison (and not the man pictured) who is a treasure-trove of historical information and explanations of buildings, objects, people and activities throughout the history of the Royal Mile. We did do a LOT of walking - so we were fortunate to wear comfortable and supporting shoes. We had perfect weather for walking around - so were very lucky.

First Day in Town 'Must Do'! - A wonderful highlights overview of the city to also include a great deal of history both large and small. Gives a good perspective of the whereabouts of key areas and some not so well known spots. Stuart was timely, kind, genuine, so knowledgeable, and just downright enjoyable. Such a treat. Would do it all over again!

Ushered through Edinburgh - Stuart ushered us through the history of Edinburgh beginning at the Usher Concert Hall donated by his family. He guided us through the magic of Harry Potter, and highlighted Scotland’s history makers and the machinations of the local band of ‘monkeys.’ This 3-hour walking tour provides visitors with scenic views, historical facts, whimsical facades, and intriguing figures that make up this unique country. Recommend you start your stay with Stuart, as he sets the stage for city exploration.
