We make a stop at Culross, where Claire was accused of witchcraft in the village of ‘Cranesmuir’. This charming village is the most complete example of a 17th and 18th century burgh in Scotland today.
- Falkland - After lunch we will continue to the village of Falkland, used for filming 1940’s Inverness. With over 28 listed buildings it gives a good representation of this period.
- Blackness Castle - Our final stop is at Blackness Castle, the 15th century fortress use to represent Fort William in the show.

Embark on a journey tracing the paths of Jamie and Claire from the popular series Outlander with this small-group tour. A local guide will share the captivating history and tales that contributed to the show’s success. Visit iconic locations featured in the series, including Midhope Castle, the real-life Lallybroch, Doune Castle, the seat of Clan MacKenzie, and the charming coastal village of Dysart, depicted as the port of Le Havre. The guide will provide insights into the history and stories of each site, making this an ideal excursion for those seeking a quick Outlander experience.
- A maximum of 10 people per booking
- Unfortunately we are unable to carry children under 5 years old, and anyone under 17 must be accompanied by an adult. There are no maximum age restrictions.
- It is recommended to book transport to the departure point in advance. Please also allow extra time to get to the departure point for check-in. We advise you arrive at least 15 minutes before the tour departure to allow time to check-in for the tour. Unfortunately, we are unable to hold the bus or refund for any late arrivals.
- There are days when a castle may be closed for filming or other reasons. The tour will then include Linlithgow Palace in its place as an exterior visit.
- Return times are approximate and subject to road conditions and weather. Please ensure you allocate sufficient time for any onward travel plans, allowing at least 3 hours after the scheduled return time for connections or activities.
- Midhope Castle is closed for the season from December 2024 to 1st of March 2025 and will be substituted with Linlithgow Palace

Great activity to spent a day while in Edinburgh - Perfect tour to explore surrondings around Edinburgh and enjoy the Outlander filming locations. Our tour guide Matt was the best! He was very informative, told us the brief history of the Scotland.

Beautiful scenery - The weather during our visit was, in a word, perfect. Our guide Matt was very informative and funny and made the day trip fly by. We chose the option to go into each castle and were so glad we did!

Excwlent day - Sophie was great!! The tour went smoothly because of her knowledge and kindness. Luckly the wather was perfect and Castles were much more beautifull. I atrongly recomend the tour.

Take me home to Lollybroch - My husband and I went on the Outlander tour with Ry. It was amazing to see all of the filming locations from one of our favorite shows. I think the husband loves the show more than I do and appreciated seeing Lollybroch. Thank you for a fun time.

Outlander? Yes please - Ry was amazing, the bus was comfortable but the best part was seeing the Outlander filming locations. Ry mentioned several great recommendations.

Great one day activity - Wonderful views and drive through scottish villages. Nicely paced tour, Blackness is highlight in the end. Charlie was a lovely guide.
