Great tour with a great guide - Great history of the Edinburgh. Brought history to life showing us historical sites and telling us stories about the past. Finding the place the tour started was difficult but Gary our tour guide made up for it. Would definitely recommend this tour if you want to know more about Edinburgh

Take this tour! - We really enjoyed the tour & our tour guide Madge! The history of Edinburgh is fascinating, and Madge was engaging and enthusiastic for the whole tour. The amount of walking wasn’t too bad either, which was good at the end of a long day. I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone who wants to understand the history, architecture, and stories of Edinburgh.

One of the best - We have learned that the best way to see a city is “rent a friend”. I was pleased to find Local Eyes Tours. Gary Ross, our guide, was a walking encyclopedia of history. He was also kind and engaged and we had a wonderful three hour private tour. Gary has such breadth of knowledge that we knew we were only scratching the surface of what he could have taught us. It was a wonderful way to experience Edinburgh.
