So much more than just pretty views - I had a wonderful time on this tour, there is just so much to see, gorgeous views and towns to visit. Special thanks to Bob, our tour guide, who's so knowledgeable about the highlands. From folk tales to history facts, he had something to say about every corner of this beautiful area, you might even understand him, if you're lucky!

Highest of the Highlands with Bob - Phenomenal tour with Bob, our knowledgeable, friendly, and skilled driver. We experienced multiple seasons’ worth of weather in one day in the Scottish highlands, but Bob kept us going through sun, clouds, rain, sleet, and—most impressively—a surprising amount of snow. All along, he provided interesting commentary and information, wrapped in the depths of Scottish history, about all the things we were seeing outside of our windows. In his hands, our tour went smoothly and we felt like we truly experienced the Scottish highlands! It was so much better than any self-guided tour could hope to be. Could not recommend more.

Great Day! - The Loch Ness tour was a great day out! Bob was a great tour guide with lots of knowledge and great stories to tell- I really enjoyed his commentary. The only thing I would say is that some of the roads and driving was a bit scary- I’m glad that Bob knew the roads well!! I had to look away a few times!! It’s a long day with 9hrs spent in the bus out of the 12.5hr trip, but I really enjoyed it and we had great weather too!! A lovely day out visiting the Scottish highlands! Would recommend.

Last minute cancellation - I had booked this excursion for my mother and me months in advance to ensure that we had spots available. I had made the payment a few days prior, and the communication via Tripadvisor had always been correct. I had access to various information via email regarding our trip, the tickets, and the summaries. On the day of the excursion, there was no email either that morning or the day before informing us of a cancellation for the day! Upon arrival, there was no one, no bus, no travelers, just us, and after managing to log into my Tripadvisor account, I found that the excursion had been canceled without any email being sent to me! It was impossible to reach anyone, whether at the provider (Gray Line) who opened the next day or on the Tripadvisor side! Huge, huge disappointment, frustration, and a lot of anger! Fortunately, we found two guides who were leaving on an excursion with a mini group in a minibus and had spots available; they saved our day, and thanks to them, we discovered incredible places. This experience makes me not want to use sites like this anymore but to go directly with local providers. Fortunately, we were refunded the very next day! So, be cautious of last minute cancellations without being notified!

DO NOT USE THIS TOUR COMPANY - Caution do not use this operator. Reserved Highland tour over three months in advance canceled less than an hour before tour was scheduled to begin by email. The tour was canceled with no reason given. Not sure if I’ll be able to get a refund.
