- Callander - The lively Highland town of Callander is our first stop for morning refreshments. Passengers can take a leisurely stroll along the high street, filled with charming tearooms and quaint shops.
- Glencoe - The captivating Glencoe is a must-visit for many travelers to Scotland. We’ll pause for a few photo opportunities as we journey through the picturesque valley. A longer stop at the Glencoe Visitor Centre allows for a delightful lunch and further exploration of the area.
- Glenfinnan - Revel in the stunning views of the Glenfinnan Viaduct and the Glenfinnan Monument overlooking Loch Shiel. From April to October, witness the Jacobite Steam Train crossing the Glenfinnan Viaduct, and hopefully capture a photo of this iconic scene. (Please Note: The Jacobite steam train will not operate from 1st to 5th September 2025.)
- Fort William - As we pass through Fort William, keep an eye out for Ben Nevis, which majestically overlooks the town.
- Perthshire - We will make a stop in the Perthshire area for evening refreshments.

Day trip to Glencoe & Glenfinnan Viaduct - Our family had a wonderful day trip to Glencoe and Glenfinnan Viaduct. Our trip leader Ron was great. He is very knowledgeable which added to our enjoyment of the trip. When choosing tours our family tends to opt for small group tours as we find them more personal, and that was certainly the case with this tour. We would definitely travel with Discover Scotland Tours again!

Views & Coos - John was our tour guide, and he did an excellent job of weaving in history throughout the journey with a bit of humor added in. The highlands were breathtaking, and although it is a long day, it really is worth it. My favorite part was hiking up a muddy hill to get up close with two hairy coos. This was not necessary as the last stop had multiple coos to feed, but I'm glad I did it, because it was very crowded with all the tour buses. Meet up point was easy to find.

Great way to visit the Highlands!!!!! - Really fun tour! John was a great guide, lots of knowledge and jokes to tell! You get to see lots of beautiful places, my highlight was the Glenfinnan Viaduct! Be prepared to spend quite a bit of time driving...out of the 12h I would say approx. 7-8h are in the bus. The scenery is beautiful thought so thats fine!

The beautiful Highlands! - Ron was an excellent tour guide with a lot of stories and information. A very enjoyable day. It is a long day so if driving/sitting for long periods bothers you this tour may not be for you. It was beautiful and the weather cooperated. A wonderful experience.

Amazing Tour & Kyle is the BEST - Kyle was an absolutely amazing guide!!!! He had such great, insightful information. And was able to take us to so many stops along the way to see the amazing views!

Worth it. - Jamie, our friendly guide, answered our questions and provided us with great historical insights. The only downside to the tour was a few individuals who couldn’t stop talking over Jamie when he was talking, making it difficult for us to hear. I wish he had kindly requested their silence. I also took a Rabbies tour, definitely not as good as a Discover Scotland! Highly recommend Jamie and discover Scotland tours.

Flawless - We had a fantastic experience on the Glenfinnan Viaduct, Glencoe and Loch Shiel 1 Day Tour with Discover Scotland Tours. Our driver and tour guide, Kyle, was absolutely excellent , extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging throughout the day. He made the journey smooth and enjoyable, and his passion for Scotland really shone through.

Glencoe adventure - Cameron was very informative and kept the trip fun. It was all gorgeous, though I could have done without waiting for the train on Glennfinan Viaduct.
