Brilliant - I needed a break and I'm glad I chose to go with Haggis adventures! Cara our tour guide made the trip a wonderful experience with her knowledge and sense of humour. She took good care of us all and was always up for a chat if we had any questions or stories to share. The trip covered so much and the scenery was breathtaking. I highly recommend this trip and i will try other trips with Haggis adventures in the future. Thank you Diane

A great tour and a few suggestions - Louise was our tour guide.EXCELLENT, pleasant, knowledgeable,a great driver. Lots of commentary. Accommodations were good value, pleasant and friendly. The bus was modern and clean. Everything ran very smoothly. I would recommend both the company and in particular this guide. A few minor negatives…. I think the tour was a day too long, we spent a lot of time retracing our path. There were not a lot of great stops and we spent a LOT of time on the bus. Because we all stayed at different accommodations we never had a great opportunity to bond with other travellers on our bus. Less than other tours we have taken. Too much folklore commentary for me and not enough architecture and not enough about the people of Scotland and how they live. Six days of listening to the playlist is a lot. Varied a lot in quality. Needs better curation. The scenery was SPECTACULAR!

Back Again and First Time On! - We love Haggis Adventures. That’s the easiest thing I can say about our first (my second!) trip with them. I have never been disappointed by the guides, the locations, the stops, the stories or the accommodation. To our wonderful guide Rich, mate, you were absolutely fantastic. We cannot thank you enough for your humour, your vast knowledge of Scotland’s many historical and folklore tales, your incredibly skilled driving, and banging playlist. Your commentary (and Aussie accent) was the sugar on top of the delicious Scottish Shortbread that was our trip. The tours are very well curated, with plenty of stops for photos and rest breaks, and the accommodation is awesome (we stayed in the hostels and have no complaints! Special shout out to the Heb Hostel in Stornoway, what an absolute gem of a place! Thanks Christine!) If you want to experience wild and sexy Scotland, we cannot recommend Haggis Adventures enough - we’ll definitely be back! (PS. The old bus was great - would just recommend getting the fridge serviced because it was broken for our trip!)

Unforgettable adventure - It was the most amazing tour! We loved every inch of Scotland and its people. And our guide, Rich, was the one who made our trip go from great to the best ever! He is a natural storyteller and an amazingly and genuinely good person. Thank you haggis adventures!

Amazing tour, average accommodation - This is a great tour to see the Hebrides on a budget. I had an amazing time, and our guide Rich went out of his way to ensure the group enjoyed the tour. The only negative was that the hostel accommodation on the Hebrides was a bit below the standard I've encountered on other hostel tours (particularly the accommodation in Portree which was 12 to a room). Still, the region and the tour made it a great trip.

Hebridean Adventure - Rich was fantastic guide. Had a brilliant time on the mainland but visiting Lewis, Harris and Skye was even better. Because things are still picking up post Covid, they put us on a bus with the Highland Explorer people but that worked out really well, we were a group with in a group. A great way to make new friends. Rich was able to change the itinerary so that we were able to have blue skies for our visit to the beach on Harris. Also I was the only person who wasn't taking the Jacobite Railway, so he was kind enough to take me to a vantage point where I could see the the train come over the Glenfinnan Viaduct. Patrick

Save your money and do something else - Although I had a memorable time (memorable is an understatement, not in a good way), I wouldn't recommend this trip. There are more negatives than positives. The only positive was our tour guide/driver Connor. He went out of his way to give us the adventure we were looking for, and was kind, personable, and knowledgeable. He offered us snacks and created really fun playlists for the ride. But beware. This trip is not "Haggis Adventures". Be careful when you book. It was advertised/encouraged for 18-35 year old group and 'solo travelers'. Unfortunately, there were only 6 of us on the "Haggis Adventure" tour. This trip is combined with "Highland Explorer". Which is a more mature/elderly group, many of who couldn't walk on trails or do much. Since the trip was advertised as a youthful, fun, adventure kind of group, I was really disappointed.
