History, humor and haggis - We only had one night in Edinburg h and this walking tour was the perfect way to make the most of it. Everyone had a great time, from my 10 year old daughter to my 77 year old father in law! Rob was full of cool facts, great stories, and just the right amount of nerdy (especially for Harry Potter fans). fascinating trivia. He was full of dad jokes that made us laugh and groan at the same time. Educational, entertaining, and surprisingly fun cardio. Rob even pointed us to the best spot for Haggis and Cranachan — which was a total win. Great for Harry Potter fans and curious minds alike. Highly recommend!

Ten stars out of five! - I would give a 10 if that was an option. Rob loves what he does and it shows. He is funny, knowledgeable, and he keeps the tour moving at a comfortable pace for everyone. You will NOT get this type of information from a guidebook, and if Rob is an option you should not even try! I highly recommend this tour. My husband and I are planning a longer adventure with Rob Carr Experiences soon! (The picture is of the sunset from Arthur's Seat!)

If you're from a warmer... - If you're from a warmer climate, it may be cold and windy in some of the walking spots. The tour was early enough in the morning that shops were still being stocked and tourists only appeared at the end of the tour

Such an enjoyable and amusing tour - Booked a private tour with Rob, who is so friendly and full of “dad jokes” that even made our teen chuckle. Chock full of fascinating Edinburgh stories, history, helpful tips and travel recommendations. Excellent local guide.

My second tour and certainly not my last! - This was my second tour with Rob, and I know that it will not be my last! When you go on a tour with Rob, you instantly feel like a close friend. Rob is one of the most knowledgable tour guides -- It is truly amazing how much information he knows just off the cuff. This sunset tour was incredible, and I was left wanting to go on an even longer tour with Rob. Time flies so quickly, and you never want it to end. I highly recommend booking an experience with Rob -- I promise that you will not leave disappointed.

Harry Potter and fun Edinburgh history all in one - This was a very informative and fun 2-in-1 tour that covered all the bases. We saw all (so many!) of the Harry Potter related sites on our list, plus many historical sites of Edinburgh. Rob regaled us with stories of Edinburgh's past as he showed us sites of executions, memorials and gravestones. He went above and beyond with advice about the city, places to eat and other things to take in. It ended up being a private tour and conversation flowed easily since Rob is so personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour---we learned a lot (and even enjoyed the jokes), and it never got "hokey".

perfect solo travel day - By chance, I was the only one on this walk since I think it was a last minute posting. Rob was so great, friendly, knowledgeable, and luckily has an English accent so I didn't struggle to understand him lol. Also, this might seem minor, but he took a couple of great photos of me that I plan to post, and I'm picky so that's an impressive feat. 6 out of 5 stars!!! (iykyk)
